I will give an automatic Like any time you review Alice Cooper! You want an Alice Cooper love song? Try the song You and Me. You want a killer rock song? Go for the song Under My Wheels. How about an anti-spousal abuse song? Try Only Women Bleed. A song about Alice's feelings, when he was released from rehab? That would be How You Gonna See Me Now? You want a song that's just a party? I'd go for the song Elected. Alice is brilliant! Keep going. You have lots to discover!

You gotta hit his classics. 'I'm Eighteen', 'Under my Wheels', "Be My Lover', 'Schools Out', 'Elected', 'Only Women Bleed', 'You and Me', 'How you Gonna see me Now', and 'Welcome to My Nightmare'. Of the more modern stuff I'd recommend 'Lost in America', 'I got a Line on You' Deeper cuts would be "Is it my Body?', ''Desparado'(not the Eagle's song), 'Pain', 'Perfect', 'Man of the Year', 'Sanctuary', 'What Baby Wants'(a duet where Kesha plays the devil) The main thing you have to understand is Alice that is singing is a character, and a bad guy. He pays for his evil at the end of every live show, by his execution. Because the Alice character isn't redeemable. Alice Cooper the performer, on the other hand, has done a lot of good in the world. Stands as an example of how to be a rock-n-roll animal, without destroying yourself. He's been married to the same woman since 1976. She was a dancer in his "Welcome to my NIghtmare" tour, lol He's still doing a lot of shows every year, and delivers!

Alice was on The Headbangers Ball back in the day. He told a story about a trip he had taken. He was on an overseas flight where the person sitting next to him was a little old lady. She told him her grandson loved his music and they chatted for a bit before she told him she was going to take a nap and not to let them wake her for dinner. When the plane landed they went to wake her up and she had passed away in her sleep. He waited with her until the paramedics came to get her. He was very sweet but joked to the host that the only thing he wished he had thought to do was put two bite marks on her neck. I remember laughing at the thought

Alice Cooper is a complex rocker. The father of shock rock, add in Ozzy and bang. Please check out a different side of Alice with his song Only Women Bleed. It's him addressing domestic violence and a tender side of Alice Cooper. The lyric video is best in this incidence because it's the studio version.

Alice Cooper is known as one if the friendliest, realistic and kindest rock stars in the world. He absolutely loves his fans and rarely turns them away from an autograph and quick exchange. He lives an ordinary life, in that he actually has been seen many times doing his own shopping at Walmart and ordinary diners. He's not afraid of the public. He's very graceful with his position. I'm as much a fan of Vincent the man as much as Alice the Cooper!!

Alice Cooper is one of the Gods of Rock music. You should look to watch videos from his time in the 70's. He used to and still does a theatrical act in all the concerts with fire, a guillotine where he simulates a decapitation, he went on stage with snakes on his neck, and things like that, that's why he is one of the pioneers of what is known called "Shock Rock", along Arthur Brown, 70's Iggy Pop, W.A.S.P., and GWAR.

Joe Satriani is all over this album playing guitar. Joe was a teacher for Steve Vie from David Lee Roth's band and Kirk Hammett of Metallica. He is mostly an instrumentalist so if you want to check that, "Surfing with the Alien" is a great place to start. If you would rather vocals also maybe try "Big Bad Moon".

That is also Joe Satriani on guitar on this song and in the video. This album featured a lot of other rock artists. On the song Feed my Frankenstein you get Joe Satriani and Steve Vai on the same song. Both these guys are guitar gods. Joe Satriani “Satch” has played with a lot of bands, lately with Sammy Hagar in the band Chickenfoot. You guys know Steve Vai from his time with David Lee Roth, and he was the devil in the movie Crossroads that you guys did. He also played in Whitesnake. And something pretty wild is that Vai was a guitar student of Satch. Another person that Satch taught guitar to is Kirk Hammett, guitarist from Metallica.

This is the album where Alice started to come-back, musically. The REAL Alice "comeback train" started rolling on the conjoined albums: Brutal Planet and Dragontown. ...really, you need to check out his only '90s album [The Last Temptation] which featured 2 songs he co-wrote with Chris Cornell (who, also, sings on them!) 🤘🤘. AND: the ORIGINAL ALICE COOPER [BAND!] 1969-1973 [active since: 1964, recording albums (BRILLIANT albums!) from: '69-'73 (before "Alice" appropriated the name of the band as: a character!🙄🤦🤷). R.I.P. 😭😭😭😭 Bless: the great Glen Buxton [Guitarist]🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💜💜

Used to go see Alice when they were still just a bar band. They'd play these small rock clubs in Cleveland. Even then, Alice would bring an entire show. There was nothing like them anywhere. Me and my musician friends never missed a show. He and I had a beer together at a small venue. Vincent Furnier couldn't have been a nicer human being. Much respect for the man. Jay/Amber, a must-do Cooper tune is Ballad of Dwight Fry. I think it's brilliant and the performance of it was off the charts huge! Love you both. Hope all is well. I bought my first ever album in the early 1970's it was Billion Dolkar Babies, the dubgle reminds me of school discos. Schools Out is still huge now and it's still the last song performed by Alice Cooper live today, yes today he is 75 years old and his band is still killing it. He still has snakes in his act and is guillotined every night onstage , it's shock rock. He used to be feared and everyone wanted to bam him. My mother lost thd plot when I went home with that album. I'm gonna see him in October in the UK. Behind the persona he is a Christian a God fearing man who raises loads of money for charities and getting kids back on track. Alice Cooper rules !

This song came out in the early 90's after he appeared as a cameo in Wayne's World with his song "Feed My Frankenstein" ! One of the BEST and funniest scenes in the movie. This song is all about getting clean, getting off drugs and alcohol. And looking for help or turning to the Lord instead of taking the easy way out. Yes that whole message is there while making it entertaining and memorable. Yes that was Ozzy but Slash, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani were also on the track as well. Alice had a lot of hits in the 70s. He didn't do a lot in the 80s... He got married and then almost divorced due to his alcohol and drug use. He cleaned himself up and then actually started trying to help other rockers. This song was on his comeback album by the same name from 1991. It was a great album. He had 3-4 hits from it but really all the songs on the album were worth listening to. I got to see him a couple years ago for his Detroit Stories tour. He still puts on one of the greatest stage performances of anyone and he is in his 70s. Very theatrical with lots of costume changes... and he still ROCKS!!! 🤘🤘

Although Alice Cooper is known firstly for his music, he has accomplished so much more. He has been married to the same woman since 1977. She is a dancer, choreographer and children’s dance teacher and they have 3 children and grandchildren. He became sober in the 80’s and has been helping others ever since. He has been given the Stevie Ray Vaughan award for work helping other musicians through addiction recovery. He is a born again Christian, avid golfer who has played in numerous charity golf events , and founder of Solid Rock which is a faith-based organization whose mission is to make an everlasting difference in the lives of teens by helping them meet spiritual, economical, physical and social needs of teens in the community by offering a safe, engaging environment during non-school hours.

Alice used "horror" to address actual human behavior and thinking! ...and he (importantly!) always had a sense of humor regarding horrific behavior and ideas (as opposed to THE MAJORITY of those who poke around with those things!!!-which, i.m.o., is what made/makes Alice tolerable!!). The band and he tended to use "weird & terrifying" to disarm and "divert focus, slightly" from (thereby, sometimes: increasing the impact and, sometimes, mollifying it, just enough!). This band, literally, INVENTED "shock rock." Highly recommended: band songs: "Is It My Body"; "Raped & Freezin'"; "Generation Landslide" 🔥🔥🔥 Solo albums to pay attention to: Flush The Fashion; Zipper Catches Skin; Dada; Special Forces ! 🤘🤘

Another great song from this album (1991) is "Love's A Loaded Gun". Yes, that was Ozzy! Elvira contributes a vocal line on "Feed My Frankenstein", and Robert "Freddy Krueger" Englund is on "Roses on White Lace". "Jon Bon Jovi has guest vocals on "Trash" as well. Alice has lots of friends :)

You should check out "Bed of Nails" or "Love's a Loaded Gun" also. For example. If you prefer his 80's stuff which I perosnally do. Most seem to only suggest 70's here.

I can speak from experience, the man can still sing. I was lucky enough to see him live last year, and he rocked like always! Alice Cooper was my first true crush, and he remains my first true crush and he remains my first true crush❤❤

I worshipped Alice during my high school years when the album Billion Dollar Babies was hot. This is an Alice Cooper song I never heard before. I love it. Thanks Rob Squad. You have to do Alice's most iconic song Schools Out. My personal favorites are Hello Hooray and Elected. Only Women Bleed is amazing. You and Me is a beautiful love song.

Like Joeskalamera said, AC is a devout Christian. He does do some dark songs, but he's a really great artist and person.

Yes, that was Ozzy and although he is not in the video, most of the lead guitar on this is Slash! Guitarist Joe Satriani is also playing on here and in the video!

One of his darkest albums is Raise Your Fist and Yell. Especially Gail,Chop Chop Chop and Roses on White Lace. I had the privilege to see Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie on their Gruesome Twosome tour.

The first guitar solo was Slash. The guitarist with the silver guitar is Joe Satriani on the second solo. You caught the third guest, Ozzy, being vastly under used. The bassist Hugh McDonald's last album with Alice. He unofficially joined Bon Jovi and waited 24 years to be made an official member in 2016.

'Hey Stoopid' was the album title as well in 1991... The song had a strong anti-drug message (Alice Cooper had spent years as an alcoholic and drug addict... he finally got clean in the mid-80's) The song actually did feature Ozzy Osbourne (backing vocals), Slash (lead guitar from Guns N' Roses) and Joe Satriani (lead & rhythm guitar) ...Unfortunately, it sold less than the platinum album 'Trash' from 1989 (w/ the hit 'Poison') despite successful singles like 'Feed my Frankenstein'... "Love's a loaded gun"... and 'Hey Stoopid'... (It did well in the UK and Germany). Alice Cooper released a concept album 'The Last Temptation' in 1994 (w/ the singles 'Lost in America'... "It's me") but lack of music industry support hampered its sales and Cooper left the Epic Records label... Alice Cooper toured in the 90's and finally emerged in 2000 w/ the comeback album 'Brutal planet'.
