My guess would be that whoever designed the layout for the laundry room has never done laundry. With the sink in the middle, now you've got to schlep the wet laundry all the way over to the dryer. It's much easier when they're together and you just pull it out of the washing machine and right into the dryer.

I think it's more personal preference, I actually like having a sink in-between, n it's sounds like ur washing machine doesn't have a very good spin-cycle, cuz my laundry doesn't drip all over.

Speedy Gonzales was a kids cartoon when I was a kid... (more than a few years ago). I like the Galley kitchen but it does miss a beat on the design Triangle, Sink/Stove/Fridge at 3 accessible points without obstruction (aka center island). I absolutely love the Blue/White combo on the cupboards! The Dining room with huge windows looking onto the porch really make it look like it goes on forever. This is the second Deer Valley with that Center Sink in the laundry room, not a fan. I do like that you can put an upright, or reach in freezer in there though. I really Like the Deer Valley line of homes, the do some very cool aesthetics in their homes.

I remember Speedy also. I agree on the kitchen island. The stovetop should be on the island and the fridge on the sink side. The ovens would be on the interior wall along with some pantry space. The size is great, but the layout is wrong. I've seen this often in mobile homes. It's going to be hard carrying heavy things around the island. It looks nice, so it sells. That utility room could have a freezer space. They have too many spaces breaking up things in there. If they relocated the electrical panel, there'd be space for the freezer. I'd layout that room differently.

I really loved this one. I think it had absolutely everything but a pantry. But honestly with the space in that laundry room you could easily tuck a couple of floor to ceiling cabinets in there. All the bedrooms were a good size, also the baths. I thought the whole house was gorgeous! And goodness gracious I guess that child knows a tub when he sees it. He is just such a cutie.

There was pantry type cabinets, but there were 2, and on opposite sides of the kitchen on the sink side. Small, but there's a larger on on the stove side of the kitchen too. He opens up those doors to show the space.

Cullen is so cute...I loved the home..It had an awesome layout...I would just change a couple of things. I would put the washer and dryer closer together. I think I would go with all white cabinets...and keep the blue island.

Again, I love the porch. Rare to find British homes with them and I think it's a shame. Deer valley make some great designed bathrooms with spacious showers. I love them. I always feel there is a unique design and quality to Deer Valley homes that always stands out. Thank you for sharing Chance.

Wow! That porch was outstanding. Never thought the utility room (ie: service porch) would get so many comments. Yes, the distance between sink and stove is awkward and a safety hazard and would have to be modified. The center island would have to be changed to marble for baking purposes, the stove would be gas, eliminate the electrics fireplace. You folks back East must not have high electric bills with all these electric appliances. Also good thing the closets are all large as I did not see any linen closets or even a coat closet.

Well Chance ..I see in the comments some don't like this model. As for me,I love it. Only thing I would change is having all the bottom cabinets in that blue and all the uppers in white. All the finishes are just gorgeous and the price seems very reasonable to me. Thanks for another great tour. Cullen,the lil cutie pie that he is,always adds a nice touch.

I like this house. I liked the fact that it wasn't totally assembled so you could see how the 2 sections went together. I like the fact that the entrances to the bedrooms were not right off of the living room. If the master bedroom closet has to be in the bathroom, I would prefer it to be closer to the bedroom door and not have to walk the whole length of the bathroom to get to it. Cullin was the extra frosting on the cake. He can charm his way into anyone's heart.

Thank you for opening up the cupboard I was able to see that it is soft close. I appreciate that. The only thing I would've loved to see in this home is a walk-in pantry. The blue and white cupboards in the kitchen were spot on. If I ever get a new place those are the colors I'm getting in my kitchen. The master bathroom was huge. The tile shower was beautiful. I like that it had a bench in there. The laundry room was big enough for a stand-up freezer or a chest freezer. Your son is precious. Did you teach him to say that? Of course you did. Lol. Really enjoy the tours of mobile and modular homes. Last year we took delivery of a Deer Valley Karios II modular home with customized features. We love our home even though product storages and availability of labor have kept the completion of our steps and sidewalks undone. Keep showing all the great homes and I'll keep watching. 😊

Chance "Speedy Gonzales" was a cartoon Character from the '50's and 60's. The floor plan for thi model is nice, but there is not a walk-in pantry, the kitchen is great with a lot of cabinets and counter space and is a chef's dream kitchen. The living room is a nice size along with the dining room. I love the porch off of the dining room and kitchen. Cullen is such a cutie.

The place was gorgeous. The 2 back bedrooms were a little too small but the Master bedroom and living room were big and I loved that side porch. I'd get it enclosed with a screened-in porch. I'd be perfectly content in that home.

This place looks good in a walk through, BUT there are design problems. The minor thing and easily fixable is the utility sink...do not separate the washer and dryer. A big mistake is the "Work Triangle" mess in the Kitchen...in kitchen design that is always a big thing stressed. From the fridge, to the stove, and to the sink is the "Work Triangle" and the path should not be interrupted...um, hardly anybody mentioned the huge elephant in the middle of the kitchen. I'm cooking at the stove and realize I need a cup of water quickly, off I go on a hike or I dive over the island. Lastly, do you really want to walk through that long Master Bathroom to get to your closet¿? Imagine your loved one sitting on the toilet and you need to get in the closet or them in a hot steaming shower and you need to walk through...there goes your make-up and hair, guys and ladies. Just some things to think about. Yes it looks great but imagine yourself in there using it.

If I were going to have TV viewing on the porch I would get a projector that could be taken indoors when not in use. Along with a screen that could be easily snapped in place to also be removed when not in use.

I really like the blue accent in the kitchen. I've been noticing a lot of brown in kitchens lately, which I don't particularly care for. It is an awkward flow for the kitchen. I would need the sink on the island. The sink in the utility room impedes the work flow between washer and dryer. I don't like having to go through the bathroom to get to the closet. But, on a very positive note, Cullen is adorable! I know you are one proud papa. Thanks for the videos.

Definitely agree on landry room. Move washer dryer to outside wall and replace window with a door. Double sink in kitchen is a must as well a wood burning or gas fireplace incase power go's out in winter. Would be nice if was a wrap around porch.
