Oh wow Swannanoa. Were you affected by the hurricane. I pray daily for those affected. I am in Henderson close to Virginia border. We love Vanderbuilt. They have been great to work with. We found our home the Legend #6 after watching Chance. We had been to Vanderbuilt a few months prior and we didn’t see this home. Somehow we missed it out of the 30 homes they have on the lot. Our process has been slow but we are very close to moving in. Probably February. We had a basement put in and that seemed to slow things down. No one’s fault. Just the process of building. Thank you for your kind words. ❤

For its size, it’s got a lot of pluses! The kitchen, off to the side and not open to the living room, is perfect!!! Love the cabinets, sink under window, microwave under the stove, and lovely countertops and island~ Great looking and well planned out. Would need to make another bedroom/bathroom upstairs. Thanks for sharing a unique home that we might actually think about moving to West Virginia when we retire, in order to buy that home🤗

Great one-bedroom home if that's all you need ! 👍 House guests can always sleep on an air mattress and a sleeping bag upstairs if they come to visit. That way they won't stay too long. 😂😜

I knew you were from MS. I lived there for 2 years, now I live in Virginia Beach. MS is a state that has the nicest people I ever met & the best catfish! I hope I can go back someday, got to see how life goes. I really like this house. It would look great with a front porch, a back deck and I would finish the upstairs into 2 bedrooms & another full bath.

Wow I didn't expect the rooms to be as big as they are. Love having a half bath. Primary is really a good size I'm just so surprised. I like the bathroom. I'd take out the cabinets in-between the sinks and have one big sink. Upstairs storage. Spare bedroom and office. Or maybe finish off basement and do it down there. I really love this. Thank you for the tour!! (I'm from Massachusetts)

I really love the layout of this home... I particularly like the kitchen and dining area.It's the perfect size for my daughter and I. I would have to build me a nice porch off the front and a deck in the back for entertaining. The only thing missing for me is a fireplace. I love a cozy fireplace.

Well I like the downstairs it would be great for a single person, but seeing the prices for 1000+sq ft.is way over the top. It has a big kitchen as well as living room and bedroom. Kind of a small closet considering there isn't any other closet or even a coat closet. A bit lack of storage unless you put it on a basement. I think the designers sometimes forget that people need storage for things like Christmas decorations and a tree. All sorts of things. And in my neck of the woods you need coat closets. We got somewhere near 6 feet of snow since Thanksgiving. I live near Erie, PA and my town is one of the ones that got hit really bad. We aren't even shoveled out yet.

I’m from New Hampshire and we have a lot of capes here. In Massachusetts, they used to call them Cape Cod. That’s the style and that’s the style of this house that you’re showing here. It’s a cute cape. I do wish they did a better trim package. I don’t like the trim and I would definitely want a fireplace. It is a great start at home though. Land up here is ridiculous priced, ridiculousso is property.

While there is much to like, I found a couple things I didn’t like. For instance the wood trim around the doors and windows. It reminds me of how old trailers look. Cheap looking. I also agree with the one comment about the street sound coming thru the home. Not very well insulated. I haven’t finished watching to the end yet but judging by the comments, the price must be ridiculous for a one bedroom.

Hi Chance, You toured a home several days ago. I thought it was this one, but the floor plan is a little different. It had a long front porch, a sitting room off the master bedroom, which was the only bedroom in the house. That bedroom opened onto the kitchen, if I remember correctly. The upstairs was unfinished, which would be perfect for our family. Do you remember that house? If so, could you tell me the maker and seller of the house? Thanks.

This is a nice little two-story home, especially for a couple or even a single person who's starting out. I really like the interior of the house it looks really nice and casual, and you can dress it up even more with some interior decorations. The price on it is a little bit high to me, but a lot of things are high, and I know you can not build this particular home for this price from the ground up.
