I was 15, when this song and video came out in December 1988. After the video debuted, MTV's switchboard lit up with countless people requesting it. This song was the public's introduction to Skid Row, and their first two albums would be stuff we would indulge in for many years to come! Cheers from northeast Ohio.

I was 19 yrs old when this came out. Seen them the following summer opening up for Aerosmith. The 80's was by far the best decade to grow up in. The concerts were amazing. Back then we didn't have the internet. The only way you could hear songs were either buying the cassette or catching it on the radio and only way to see them was catching the video on MTV, when it actually played music videos. All we did was go to concerts

Yes, we were the youth gone wild. Late nights, loud parties and concerts like this just about every weekend in Chicago. I would not sell those memories for anything. Still the long hair and leather jacket...for life. You really need to check out Dangerous Toys. They were one of my favorite bands from the 1980's. Maybe look at the song "Sticks & Stones".

For me…if any one song defined our generation for us metal head kids…it was this one….man, we stood up against authority…I remember once I was at the mall, long hair, leather jacket…torn jeans…and security followed me everywhere…my friends showed up, we were in a band, and security stopped us and told us we had to leave, we couldn’t be hanging around….we ignored them, went to the food court, ate some pizza and went to the arcade…and when we left, my bass player gave them the middle finger lol….man those were good days! I was 17!

For many of us, this was our first introduction to Skid Row and we definitely adopted this one as our anthem. They quickly became my favorite band of that era and I got to see them multiple times opening for Bon Jovi. Such great memories of great shows. Thanks for bringing this one back! And Johnny Solinger, was the 2nd lead singer for Skid Row. I worked with him at the City of Denton swimming pool. He was a lifeguard there. And would very often get on the P.A. and showcase his vocal talent. Dude was an amazing friend. No longer than I was around him. RIP JS

A skid row deep cut, that is 100% my favourite skid row song, is forever. It was a demo that was remastered and released on their greatest hits album which in my opinion it definitely should have been put onto their first album it’s incredible. In the 80s, we didn’t care about being offended, we spoke our minds, spoke our truth, we were the generation who played football out in the street and tackled each other on the concrete…we rode our skateboards where we were told we couldn’t…we had scars and scabs all over our arms, legs and face…when we played dodgeball in gym, we aimed for the face….we were the youth gone wild…our music was the same…we sang about, girls, sx…destruction, anti govt, anti authority, we wanted to be who we were…and if you accepted that, we were good, if not, we didn’t care…just leave us alone. Those were the days!
