Calm calm fruit creative use: silencing communication within your enemies. They can not hear each other and can no longer use transponder snails since the snails will not hear them. Silencing someone in one ear would also make them lose their equilibrium, causing nausea, dizziness, lack of balance, headaches, and possible vomiting. Silencing sound based weapons - the energy from the sound will still travel through and hit their target, but no one would be able to hear/detect it. You basically get hit with an invisible beam or explosion that travels at the speed of sound. Similar to submarine sonar that kills whales. OR Use the calm calm fruit to focus sounds. By using two silent rooms, you can funnel sounds between them so the sounds collect in one area and travel through a narrow space into your ear, giving you super hearing. It is similar to filters in a microphone that will reduce unnecessary noise and focus on the sounds that you want to be captured. Assuming you could do this to condense sound, you would also be able to condense sound in a small space using multiple calm rooms and sandwiching sounds in-between them. Similar to Kuma’s condensed air bomb, but with sound. You can literally hit someone with a sonic boom this way. Silence your heartbeat and breathing to fake your death. Or someone else’s death. Awakened: Silence other types of noise such as ELECTRICAL NOISE (variations in wattage and power) this allows you to cut off electrical communications, making you a living EMP. But you could also shut down the electrical noises in the nervous system and brain. You can instantly paralyze or lobotomize a living being/group of living beings.

I think calm calm fruit would be worth it because First and most important reason: -You can sleep peacefully 😌 2. If someone is shouting at you or pissing you off you can really piss them off with it 😏 3. If you're doing a stealth mission [assasination] or you just wanna sneak out and don't want to be heard then its really usefull to clear the sounds away. 4. You can't only just create a field [room] with it. If you touch a person you can make them mute with it, they can't hear others and no one can hear them, it works as long as you're alive. Corazon demonstrated it on Law right before he died. And with all of these i'd easily give up my swimming.

I've wondered if the Calm-Calm fruit doesn't actually have a lot of hidden potential. If it calms air, that means he can't be affected by wind, which means he could chill in a tornado or in a hurricane like it's nothing. And if it can calm the air, maybe it can also calm rough waters around a boat, which I imagine would prove useful on the Grand Line. Hell, the Calm-Calm fruit might completely nullify the powers of the Tremor-Tremor fruit. Calm-Calm fruit is really underexplored.

Ok so my main issue is with the egg egg fruit (baron tomago). It was stated that it is a pun on what came first? Chicken or the egg? When the user takes lethal damage they enter a state of incubation then transform into a chicken, if they again take lethal damage they then transform into the super grown up chicken, if they then again take lethal damage they enter another short period before becoming the egg again. The fruit literally gives the user immortality so yeah… pretty sure its one of the most busted, not worthless in the slightest. Some of the others i agree with but can see potential. For instance the pocket pocket fruit could save you from a sticky situation by allowing you to be captured and infiltrate while keeping all your weapons and gear, and similarly kinemon’s fruit could allow a group to quickly disguise themselves as the enemy on the fly (as they did at Onigashima which proved to be invaluable in the raid.) And with the jacket jacket fruit, you too could wield the King Punch!! 😂

With the pocket pocket fruit, if used creatively, it could actually be used to deal some serious damage. For example, you could keep objects such as weapons, supplies, armor, etc. stored in your body in infinite amounts. In a one on one, it might not seem useful, but just imagine a user like ussop or don kreig using it where they could literally store an entire army's worth of weapons on them without taking up any space. Overall it fits a user who relies more on weapons or tech better than one who uses brute strength

This is a fruit idea I camp up with the Yoru-Hiru Nomi also known as the night and day fruit. It is a paramecia type devil fruit that allows the user to control the brightness and temperature of certain areas within a given range. It can make certain small areas bright and blind someone or it can heat up or cool down a given area and do damage to their opponent. During the day, the user can make said zones even hotter or brighter and during the night it can create even darker and colder areas. Its awakening allows the user to even further amplify these effects and choose more specific things to amplify the temperature and brightness of. Its weakness however is that the temperature and brightness do correspond with each other. Meaning that if the user wants to make something bright, they at least have to make it warm and they can’t make it cold, same thing if they want to make something cold it also has to be dark. Also, if the user focuses on multiple tinier specific objects or places to amplify, then it will drain their energy must faster as this requires way more focus then just amplifying one space.

Some of these devil fruits might be really badass when awakened though. Just imagine the Calm Calm Fruit's awakening turning everyone around you permanently unable to hear, or maybe take away all senses within a range. No sound, no sight, no feeling. Truly terrifying. Rust Rust Fruit corroding and rotting the entire surrounding like a plague. Butter butter fruit turning the environment sticky and slippery, I guess? And the human human fruit, in itself, seems kinda not bad to me. I'd imagine if a human ate it, they'd become a ripped, super strong human with super intelligence (pushing all human characteristics to the peak). Not to mention strong point and just imagine monster point. So Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk all in one fruit. Count me in. I'd love to hear others' thoughts though.

The EGG EGG fruit allows you to survive attacks that would otherwise be fatal. A lot of the horrible devil fruits are non canon one example of a bad devil fruit would be Alvida’s smooth smooth fruit as it doesn’t offer complete protection from non Haki attacks like a Logia although we still don’t know that much about it tbh. And Morgan’s fruit is a bit of an enigma because while he said he couldn’t fly Translating Japanese to English isn’t that simple. While some words in English can have different meanings Japanese is much more complicated. Morgan could have been saying I can’t fly in my Human beast form because Zoan type Devil fruits have three standard forms unless you’re name is Chopper. It’s possible that Morgan can fly in his Albatross form but not his hybrid form we just don’t have enough information about him. Also there are 5 types of Bird fruits that allow flight according to Oda as mentioned by Pell I believe his name was in the Alabaster Arc. And other types of Devil fruit allow flight such as smokers and Aces logia type devil fruits even Nico robin can fly though only for a Few seconds. As for the worst devil fruits sure there are a couple of stinkers mostly in the Paramecia or Paramythia class. Which is the most common type which offer only 1 type of ability though once Haki was introduced a lot of fruits that originally looked powerful have been downgraded for example Alvida’s smooth smooth fruit looked pretty strong when first introduced. But if she had to fight a armament Haki user then she couldn’t use her fruit to defend against weapons that would otherwise be ineffective. In short if you took the time to read this post you overlooked things like Haki when considering whether a fruit is good or bad as well as how good the user of said fruit is even Luffy’s devil fruit could fit on this list if it was eaten by someone who lacked the determination to learn to properly use the fruit. So in my opinion what makes a bad fruit is several factors it’s class paramecia Zoan Logia how skilled the User is as you pointed out the brush brush fruit would require someone skilled at painting to maximize its potential. And Finally what type of power it gives the User and whether the fruit has awakened.

Ohara's sole argument for putting the Brush-Brush Fruit is "You need to know how to draw to use this fruit, therefore it is bad" acting as if you couldn't just go learn how to draw in order to use the fruit. Also he's being a hypocrite because he literally ranked this Devil Fruit high on one of his KZbin Shorts videos. The Albatross Fruit is good, just that the user is an idiot and doesn't know how to fly. It would make zero sense for a bird-based Devil Fruit that is of a species that is known to have the ability to fly for long periods to not have this ability. The Pile-Pile Fruit can merge inanimate objects together for the user to use. So the user can use the fruit even if their alone, its not a bad Devil Fruit. The Egg-Egg fruit on this list is also weird because its much more unique compared to other Zoan and it has a semi-useful immortal ability. No clue why Ohara fails to see how useful this is compared to the standard boring Zoan we see alot. For the Rust-Rust Fruit....I may not know much of oxidization but the commenters certainly do. This fruit was placed here because Ohara couldn't be bothered to do any research on the subject. Even more signs of Ohara not caring to do research is the fact that he ignores the anime's demonstration that the fruit can affect the human body on contact. The Butter-Butter Fruit, I don't care for it at all but your argument against it is flawed because it can literally be on the exact same level as the Mochi or Candy Fruits in the hands of the right user. Putting the Garb-Garb Fruit at the number 2 spot over the Jacket Fruit shows that Ohara is HEAVILY underestimating the fruits potential. He seems to have forgotten that the fruit can also produce ARMOR and WEAPONS. So....yea the user of this fruit can totally create a warhammer 40k Space Marine suit with functioning weapons and go to town on enemies. Quite a poorly made video for real. I countered more than half of the Fruits presented here. Ohara looks at fruits from a very limited perspective, equally as much as Grandline Review does. They put little to no effort into thinking of the potential each fruit has and judges them solely from the user. Where are the fruits that are actually bad like the dachshund Zoan? Its clear this video was made because Ohara was running low on ideas, he and GLR treat their channels like a business.

You ain’t becoming a Sungod or anything but it has crazy practical uses because your oxidizing things.. If your butter tastes good, you basically have unlimited resources for a business. Drawing even bad drawings result in pretty powerful creations and there’s nothing that says you can’t trace something. Calm calm would be pretty useless to me but I could see some people taking full advantage of its abilities. Pocket fruit I think, would be insanely useful. Yeah, you may or may not be able to pull out heavy things, but having anything you need at your beck and call essentially that you can physically carry is insane.. he’d be the world smuggler I tell you that, also, I 100% see the pile pile fruit being incredible especially if it’s awakened. it’s pretty much just Steven universe fusion which is already proven to be really good

This my theory, One Piece is just a switch or a magical tool, that lowers the grounds, and lifts the underwater cities to unite it all, no single government, but every kingdom have sovereign, the D family are like the org that these nations/kingdoms created to protect all the kingdoms and their freedoms (just like UN), and the leader is JoyBoy. First I really though 9 would be the “no girls (you know the word) no mi”. Second with number 8 you could fuse weapons together or other inanimate objects like water, fire, air. Third with the egg you could crack yourself open and hide away for a while until you get the chicken parts. The cloth cloth no mi could also potentially be a really busted devil fruit if left in the hands of a creative user, cause what really classifies as clothes in that aspect. As long as a user can imagine the clothes, they could create indestructible clothes, clothes with abilities like xray goggles, the unlimited potential is there. Not to mention, you could set it up with the return object in mind with clothes the wearer cant remove turning into something dangerous.

Kanjuro‘s DF is supposed to be weak, seriously? Your only argument against it is you need mastery to use it, but that’s basically the same as training for DF mastery that all powerful abilities require. I would go so far as to say it’s one of the most powerful paramecia seeing what Kanjuro could do with it. Even with crappy drawing it was still comparable to what Sai from Naruto could do and that is definitely not a crap ability. Can’t take this list serious after just watching the first few minutes.

The Butter Butter fruit COULD be used on the ground your opponent is standing on to give them ZERO traction and make them completely unable to fight. You could also use it on their weapon or even yourself to make you impossible to hold onto.

Massive disagree on two of these. The brush fruit is still decent on people with bad artistic abilities, not to mention once you have this fruit it’s a major incentive to improve your art skills. Nearly everyone can become a pretty good artist, regardless of talent, with enough practice. The other is the egg fruit, it was confirmed that after cracking twice, you return to human form, giving an infinite loop of not dying to potentially deadly attacks. This one is more shaky because we don’t know if certain attacks don’t cause you to crack and instead just kill you(i.e. being decapitated) and we don’t know how easy it is to kill the yoke, even under the worst assumption its still good as the chicken forms do you grant flight.

I think you are looking at corazón devil fruit in the wrong way you are looking at from the perspective of being a fighter, fighting someone head on, but he’s devil fruit is different. It could be a stealth fruit you could get information for the word government stealthily. You could literally be even more stealthy than a regular person who is stealthy like Sabo he managed to walk into the government base and hide without a stealth fruit. It would have been much easier and even more better. if he had this specific devil fruit let’s say his stealth at level 100 with this fruit could be 200 doubles the efficiency of gathering information stealthy, you could be an assassin

Pocket Pocket fruit is basically hammerspace or a bag of holding ability. Use Eggheads methods for applying it to a fruit and you have an actual bag of holding. Or you could give it to a support animal like a parrot on your shoulder. No swimming negative with that option.

So with the butter fruit, since it is an oil based substance, technically maybe if the user was creative enough with it, they could float or walk on water. Its not a bad devil fruit, it just requires a creative user
