That's the same thing in real life. I was in the military as a "Marine" hilariously. And there is enlisted and officer. Enlisted ranks = Private, Sergeant, etc. did a lot of ground work (hands on) usually led by officers in charge. Officer = lieutenant, Captain, General did a lot of paperwork and led enlisted to do the work. There is more to it honestly, but this is pretty much the system. Which is similar to One Piece military.

Rank Insignia The Marines do not have a system of rank insignia per se. 9:22 one more thing i feel is misisng from vice admiral segment is how within this rank there is a high variance in strength. I suggest this mostly because vice admiral is often the career end for several marines. Due to how the next rank (i.e., admiral) is limited to 3, and it seems admirals can keep the position for life (i.e., no term situation).

At this point the WG is more of a final boss than Blackbeard now. Especially since Luffy is essentially Nika now. The war that happened 800 years ago is starting to brew again right now. Just a bigger threat and to many heavy hitters for the straw hats to take on. 3 maybe 2 admirals if fujitora turns, a fleet admiral in Akainu, a commander in chief, possibly some stronger members in CP0. On top of their public forces they still have to worry about 5 secret mythological zoan df users in the Gorosei, 9 holy knights and then Imu on top of that.

I'm willing to guess that D. stands for Demigod, who were supposed to be the true inheritors, not the Celestial Dragons, and the CDs ancestors were the ones that tried to kill the majority of the Ds(nutz). As the OG D's died, their hearts& powers went into fruits to try to help their chosen Users have some power. While Nika was the Sun God that represents Freedom and bonds by emotion, Imu is the opposite. Imu could be a surviving/rogue Moon God that represents Order and bonds by logic: he seems to have power over the oceans, is JoyBoys enemy while also seeing the Nika fruit as a threat, is the true head of the WG, and his original God form could be why DF uses are hated by God(Moon God). It's also a theme throughout OP that it's Freedom VS Order: Freedom to live& enjoy but have criminals & Order in society&security but have corruption. Pirates have their own societies on Fleets, Yonkos, and personal strength, the WG uses Warlords, human experiments, and genocide for secrecy

I think the Blackbeard Pirates vs straw hats will be a Davy Back Fight. I think they will have to fight the Blackbeard pirates in more of a group fight instead of 1v1s that we are used to getting. Based off Foxy, that was a watered down version of this era’s Davy Back fight but I think Rock’s era had the original (violent) which they ended up losing.

the marines are the ones who give the island more trouble and its the same if the island falls under the command of someone like Kaido as well. so we cant consider the marines as heroes because for the majority of the scenarios, we see them become the negative influence. For eg, Axe Hand Morgans son helmeppo and marine were literally terrorizing a little girl from the island, marines took bribe from arlong to keep quiet and many more. it feels more like to the world and all its population its better to be under Luffy or Shankses Crew

I don't watch or read much One Piece but based on the video, i like to think the world of One Piece is just like the world of Kenshi, Desert Punk and/or Warhammer, and that it's way past a crazy world ending war that saw all technology and civilization collapse and the 20 Kingdoms and that Imu guy were post apocalyptic warlords who rebuilt society piece by piece with them on top. Imu is the god emperor, the 5 Elders are the perpetuals, the Celestial Dragons are like the High Lords of Terra, Marines are the IG, Admirals are the Primarchs. Maybe even Earth exists in One Piece and the planet we see is a terraformed mess, that's why there's all this weird stuff going around.

In the last years there was a lot of major findings reading lost ancient civilizations that have a deep connection with the creation of the human species. And there is also a deep connection beetwen the lost civilizations and the current people who run the world. I have an irrelavant question to the topic here, but since it's the newest video, I thought I'd ask it here. So, how free is Nika, actually? We all know its freedom is limited to the user's imagination. But can it in fact do "anything"? For example, in the last chapter where Luffy eats Kizaru's beam and then projects it, if I were Luffy, I would have swallowed that beam to integrate it with my own DNA to consequently use it in my fights 'cause that's how my imagination works. And since I'm all rubbery, I don't believe that the beam would hurt me if I ate it. Actaully, it's not just limited to that! If I imagine that I could disintegrates my body into tiny parts (much like Buggy), could it happen in reallity? Is Nika actually capable of that much? Because if that's the case, well, I'll leave it to your imagination! I'd like to know your opinions on the matter.
