Today I happened to come through this same street, and I could see it's a harassment for locals by tourists. They were occupying whole street and have no concern for locals

Goans are peaceful and tourists should respect that Goa is beautiful because of Goans. If tourists cannot enjoy the beauty of Goa and want to boss over Goans then the police should do their job at take action against such tourists. Surely they will not tolerate outsiders bossing in their own state.

Mr Aloo Gomes, you have full right to act. I have seen with my own eyes the harassment meted to the residents of São Tome and Fontainhas. The tourists behave very rude and and think it's their birth right and we Goans owe it to them. We do not want such cheep type who come to harass rather than enjoy. This is just a trailer for you guys (tourists). Better behave or else do not come here.

Just charge them for taking photographs. If people take photographs of your house and cause nuisance, you have the right to prosecute them if it is private property. People can click pictures of their face but it is wrong to click pictures of yourself posing in somebody elses property , they can do that in the hotels or restaurants or meuseums where it is allowed. Better the people from there arrange bouncers like how they have in nightclubs since many people go here and there as if everywhere is a nightclub

You should have just said you are not allowed to photograph private property. People must tae objection that if you are having aprivate property it is not supposed to be photographed if the owner doesnt wish their property to be photographed. Im sure if someone comes near my house and tries to take photographs with my house in the picture i have right of the photographs itself. You should ask people if they want to take photographs of your house in it then they should pay for taking photographs there

Start charging entry fees for a few streets. Make good use of the tourists. Automatically, they will reduce once they know there is an entry fee. These are all the free ka maal tourists. Use the money to maintain the place.
