Thank you Pratima. it was totally unexpected that whole Goa, irrespective of religion could come together peacefully, in droves in support of our "Goencho Saib", can we say, a miracle from St. Francis Xavier. Don't push us or divide us, Its same blood that flows amongst us all, whether Hindu, Catholics or Muslims and we will stand together. . This old man has repeatedly insulted our faith and our Icons. Our faith is universal(Catholic) we have own saint St Jose Vaz who is honored by Sri Lankan Christians. and likewise we honor Saints from other countries, because Our church is Universal. And let us be clear, except for our native tribes, Kunbis, Gaudas, most of us assimilated into Goa over a millennium time period from some other regions, we became Goans, including our "Goencho Saib".
