Wtf are you talking about. There’s SR pugs everyday and at least ones that I’ve seen up to AQ40. There’s progression guilds as well. I’m currently in one and we just killed our third C’thun and will be entering Naxx spider wing in a few weeks. You don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about you 🤡.

I’d be interested to know if you think there are any changes that you think could be introduced to vanilla classes, which would improve the experience for some of the lesser classes but keep the game feeling fun? There’s a couple of minor things I think they could do, but SOD has gone WAAy past that haha.

hmmmm its a slippery slope. Some classes suck in PVE but are fine in PVP. Make them stronger in pve... makes it busted in PVE. case in point star suge druid!

The only reason I play sod and continue to play sod is because I just want vanilla wow where ret paladins arent utter trash. I think maybe they went a little out there with the changes, but its experimental so i gave them the benefit of the doubt. I do think there is some merit though, to fixing classes on era so they actually function in raid somewhat properly. Not saying to bring everyone up to the level of warriors, but at least making some specs worth bringing to raid I think is a good train of thought for vanilla. The execution is the hard part, none of the devs currently there really understood the way vanilla was balanced so they tend to just rip things from other iterations of wow and stick them in, leading to huge discrepancies between classes that cant really be overcome, like shamans just being way too overtuned and now p4 its going to be druids that are overtuned.

heres a hot take, I dont think that ret pally are trash. They are a cool and interesting pvp class. reckoning bombs are awesome. seal twist wombo combos. Yes they are weak in PVE. I like that about vanilla. I did not like the OP ret of TBC and WOTLK where you simply had to run or die from them

@@dwarflord not really like that, constructive criticism is great but I didn't feel like this was constructive at all. Most of the problems I (and many others) had with SoD are being addressed in some way and that's important to acknowledge. It sounds like SoD just wasn't really for you.

New dungeons, new raids, make specs viable is the baseline what people want and they goofed that up. Stop cutting them slack for an ass job, the people who helped make retail ass are now on classic. Personally I would rather they keep 10man raiding as an option since this is why my guild all quit, we dont have the time to sit around 8hrs before raid looking for people but thats just mine/our opinion(s).

Every class can do stuff now that it shouldn’t be able to. The new stuff that people want so much should not be in the gameplay of classes but instead of world/zones and new raids. Imagine a pure vanilla game with maybe crusader strike and dual wield on shamans but a whole new world to explore with the spirit of vanilla. THATS what i and many others wished for

You don't like it.. I love tier sets, i wanted my tier set to matter since original wow. In classic era i raid in tier set even though its not bis. I love the idea of having a complete set. So cool you want your random pieces of rare loot that always got Loot councled to a officer or gm in a guild. Awesome lol just gatekeep more loot to the very few. Tier mattering is awesome. Like i said you dont think about your community and what they want. You wouldnt be able to please this community either. You would make me upset if you had it the way you want it. I dont want to chase a 2% boot drop chance for bis entire game that gets master looted to a officer

ok level 25 raid logs vs level 50 raid logs is going to be a huge drop in raid logs. Please tell us more on how you know the hype is gone. Everyone only basis their opinion on player population off of raid logs. Of course the hype is down. The hype of era realms is gone too, but there is still a player base. If retail players came to era and said its dead you would disagree, because there are still raids happening and people to play with. SoD is not dead, it has lost its original hype, but that has nothing to do with why people base their opinions on raid logs. Monkeys man, use your brain. I had 6 level 25's i have 1 level 50. Of course raid logs go down. Im also full bis so i dont need to do any raiding until phase 4. Im still logged in every day playing.

i would rather play sod than classic era any time of the day. classic its self kinda sucks. there is to many specs that are not even playable warriors are 3 times higher than rest of dps witch is lame. no where to farm pvp ranking is a joke. and after hearing this guy talk im glad i dont play era its all ppl who dont want any change dont want to face a challenge at all just log on and push 1 button and kinda be afk the whole time thats cool but that shit was fun like 20 years ago now its like come on.

Thats ok if you dont enjoy vanilla, but a lot of people do. Every spec is viable for something. A shadow priest does puny damage but will easily beat a fury warrior in PVP most of the time. Such is the way of life and thats how we like it. When you balance things, give everyone aoe. Give everyone a self heal. give everyone a movement speed increase, suddlenly the game feels bad. Anyone who says vanilla is a 1 button spec does not play vanilla and is simply repeating things they heard. There is very high level skill caps for all characters and thats what makes it awesome.

I love the classic world and just want to play a prot pali in classic. Its my first character when i was 12 years old. An you're telling me they cant make a sod for players like me that didnt happen into the bis prot warrior role. Great man. Era is not good for those who enjoy other off specs. You're completely wrong. Tell me how you can get into a raid as a prot or ret paladin. Paladins where not meant to be only holy healers, but because of min maxing. They cannot do either of the other 2 talent specs we are given. Warrior is able to use all 3 talent specs, pve, pve and pvp. You are definitely a spoiled warrior main.

@@dwarflord the skill cap for warriors is world buffs lol its not skill man i have a 60 warrior, what you say is not true. Warrior is braindead. its get your correct gear + consumes/wbs. Thats it. Make sure you get in melee range fast and do your 2 buttons. That is not skill based play. You are a spoiled warrior. There is very very very very little skill in warrior. You can setup macros to stance dance and press very few buttons. As a ret paladin seal twisting, swing timer is way more complex than warrior lol good luck man. Quit making sod content no one likes you

All I wanted for Classic+ is: 1) Minor class balances... make meme specs viable - Boomkin, Shadow Priest, Enhance/Ele Shaman etc. Raid diversity on ERA is so gross currently. Horde is like 8 Shaman and 20 Warriors. 2) 1 or 2 new raids, nothing crazy maybe a ZG40 man raid and a Naxx 20 man raid 3) Very minor item/balance pass, nerfing nothing but buffing unusably bad items, a SMALL balance pass on the worse sets (Priest AQ40 set for example is SOOOOOOO useless) Instead Blizzard immediately jumped to like Classic + + + + + + + + + + + where the game is so drastically different it barely feels like Classic at all.
