"Sharp Dressed Man", "Legs", and "Gimme All Your Lovin'" formed a trilogy of music videos with the group, the Eliminator car, and the hot girls. In each video, they all show up and the guys act as sort of "Fairy Godmothers", or more accurately, "Hairy Godfathers" .

When I was best man for my best friend's wedding and we were all forced to wear tuxes, we kept reminding ourselves that "every girl's crazy about a sharp dressed man". This is one of their songs that has been used in so much pop culture it would have been had to not have heard at least the chorus to it. And in ZZ Top fashion, having the three girls come to the rescue of some poor schlub in the Eliminator coupe is something to look forward to. Now you really need to do "Legs" where they come to the aid of a damsel in distress.

Such a fun song! This rock band was formed in 1969. They were popular for their live performances, sly humorous lyrics & the matching appearances of Billy Gibbons & Dusty Hill, who wore sunglasses, hats & long beards. Sadly Dusty Hill passed away in 2021. Some of their other hits are "La Grange", "Tush", "Gimme All Your Lovin'", "Legs" etc.

Brings back memories. I bought their “First Album” on 8-track tape in the early 70’s. I had concert tickets for another band that was to play at the Tulsa Assembly Center but they had to cancel. They said they would refund our tickets if we wanted but that they had a replacement band to fill in - that band was ZZ Top. There was no way we would ask for a refund, we wanted to see ZZ Top more than the original band. Keep up the good work on showcasing the music - all of you ladies do a great job with your reactions and comments.

Ooooh Heck Yeah!!! I was almost a teenager when i saw this and had a crush on the girls lol!!! Love the 80s music. Billy Gibbons, the guitarist/singer is a very underrated guitarist. I saw them live 3 times and had the best time at every show. The first was notable in that I didn't know who they were. Teens can be stupid but in my defense I think it was their first national tour. I was in the crowd to see Deep Purple and ZZ Top was the opening act. At one point they were using a motorcycle chain to beat on the drum cymbals. The crowd was so into them, they were still shouting for another encore as Deep Purple began their set. Phenomenal.

3:12 LOL..The Band's the parking guy's "Fairy Godfathers" Gave him the girls and the keys! He can always go find another parking job, hell with his boss! And yep, It's true..When I wear my double-breasted sport coat, Military turtleneck sweater and Fedora, Ladies half my age take a second look and give me a smile! Billy Gibbons told a story where he heard Jimi Hendrix was in the same hotel and he went and knocked on his room door and Jimi grabbed him and pulled him into his room where he was listening to Jeff Beck and asked Billy how he thought Jeff made certain sounds. Donna, that car is a 1933 Ford Coupe which has been heavily modified. Billy Gibbons the lead singer/lead guitar player owns it. The car is currently on display at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

I'm Australian and every Australian over 40 y.o knows who they are, some of the young ones would know them as well. This song was a huge hit as were so many of their songs. I read they found the car a year or two ago, it was somewhere rusting away but they have restored it apparently :) Check out more ZZ Top they had a lot of great songs. @@KathyLuluandDonna LOL, if you say so. Check it out. Not all fun and games. ;O) Once we did an outdoor show at a small baseball park. I brought the staging. The area we where to set up was on the outside of the outfield wall. That wasn't that high but we had to get above it. There was a concrete walk that lead to about 1/2 of the way to that spot. After that it was grass. It had rained a few days before our load in. It looked OK so we started to run the tractor trailer truck out and it promptly got stuck. Oh well. We had a couple of forklifts so we were just going to try to off load right there. The first lift got stuck as well. We ended up unloading a lot of the flatbed by hand. We built a road out of extra plywood we always carried to use the 2nd lift to unload the rest and get it to the build area. The staging area turned out to be even worse. In those situations we put cut plywood squares under the leveling screw jacks to keep them from sinking. We used a lot them. As the stage went up it got heavier and heavier and we kept jacking it up to keep it level. Fortunately the jacks had enough height to deal with it. We managed to get the truck & lift out of the way later. Sound, lights & band gear showed up the next morning and I told those guys about the soggy load in area. We expanded the plywood road to keep those trucks from getting stuck. The show went off as scheduled but we were pretty played out getting it there. Just a behind the scenes thing that most people never know about. ;O)

Billy is always the one with the deep deep voice,Dusty sounds abit more lighter and often supports Billys voice in the car. I know Donna asked earlier about the car,and im sure it has been answered by now,but Billys car (he has several old classic cars) even has its own name,and its The Eliminator. It features in just about every music video of theyrs,and is probably theyr most known trademark to date besides the long beards. The Eliminator is theyr very own "superhero car" in alot of ways. "The Eliminator was built for the rock band ZZ Top and has been featured in many of the band's videos. It's a sleek hot rod made from a '33 Ford Coupe in bright red with the ZZ Top logo on the side" 8:22 That southern slang,i absolutely love it,Lulu! You are unhinged dear lady,never change hahaha! Funfact: Theyr song Doubleback was actually the main soundtrack for Back To The Future with Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd in the lead roles. (this is not a intended suggestion,but i recommend the song as it is soo good) What i do suggest though,from hearing you mention the guys dance moves in Sharp Dressed Man,is my favourite song by them: ZZ Top - Velcro Fly. Dusty Hill is amazing in that video! And Billy Gibbons brings out his customed special guitar wich im gonna let be a surpise when that day comes. The overall music video is of the kind that would make Quagmire from Family Guy go: Giggity Giggity Goo! But in ZZ Tops fun,respectable and entertaining way. ZZ Top loves theyr women Im trying to think of a good song where Dustys voice is more dominant. ZZ Top - Tush Live From Crossroads Guitar Festival 2004 (Dusty singing lead) If you want to break out laughter from Lulu while watching ZZ Top,i suggest: ZZ Top -Burger Man. But any of these last ones arent really suggestions expected to be reacted to within any timeline. Just some friendly tips.

If I'm not too late to the party, I'd really love it if you guys could react to this same song but covered by a band called Rick K. and the Allnighters! they have a version of it that went crazy viral and all because of their drummer, better known as the "Mad Drummer" his preformance might seem just like a lot of fun for the untrained eye, but what he's actually doing on stage is way to complex since he plays and juggles with the drumsticks and never ever misses a bit, so... not only does it get to be fun to watch but talent is there, as his way of playing, to me is unique and so much technical, love that video and I hope you love it too, either in a new video for everybody to watch or just for yourselves, just in case you decide to watch it... enjoy.
