Nice. Personally, I like brief overview first impressions like this. I just want to have a general idea of what the new products are, what they look like and move on. I rarely sit through detailed and comparative reviews unless I have a particular interest and questions on a specific product.

Hi Christine, I hope you don't take this harshly - I've been following you since I was a teenager, you've probably been the biggest beauty/fashion influence on me of anyone on KZbin, I respect you and wish you well - but videos like this are essentially useless. I know first impressions are NOT reviews, so I'm not expecting a review, but I at least wish you'd do things like compare the colors of the lipstains to each other, or even to other color lipstains from the myriad other brands you've reviewed over the years... without those steps you're just demonstrating new products on your face and talking about them in a very (sorry) simplistic, basic way that doesn't communicate much at all, without context and comparisons and any real insight. At this point I watch your videos if I want to be put to sleep, because I find you pleasant and soothing, but not if I'm looking for a valued, informed perspective on a product. & I don't at all expect you to be excited about sitting down and talking about products, I understand that the beauty industry is tedious at best and damaging at worst, but I just no longer feel connected to you as a long-time follower because you don't seem to have any spin or strong POV anymore. You're getting lost in the noise for me and I've become a resentful observer. I'm sorry for the essay you didn't ask for but I had to get that off my chest.

I disagreed! I love her style! I watched her videos because I love seeing her reaction to products, I don't look at her in comparison to other beauty gurus. What made her unique is that she does things her own way and I feel connected to that. I guess you should unsubscribe if you don't like her vibe anymore. Don't change christine! I would disagree as well! She's always had a very clean, minimalistic video style and I love that. It's not loud or annoying. There are a ton of other youtubers out there who would sacrifice their lip skin and try every color of lip stain and that is perfectly fine and their "thing". And then there are those who are swatch and try some of the samples and that's perfectly fine as well. I found her verbal descriptions quite good (example comparing texture of lipstain to fenty's so I have an idea of what it could be like). You're doing great Christine. Don't change, we love watching you for who you are. I will continue to be excited everytime the notification goes off.

Hilarious. Constructive feedback is one thing, but writing an essay about being alienated from her content is just manipulative. If you don't like it...move on. It's simple. Christine seems like the nicest person, so of course she will acknowledge your criticism as something valid, but honestly I think it's nonsense and you should be more considerate.

This is what I like more about Christine's videos..she doesn't exaustes every option (if that makes sense.. English is not my first language). I was so happy to see a new video of Christine in a sea of youtubers that are just sell outs and don't have a strong personal style. Also, Christine has been super honest and shared a lot of things here like her breakup her anxiety etc life is always easy and to criticize her for not comparing colors etc just sounds a little manipulative like maybe you would pick other thing if she indeed compared colors..I look forward and forward to another video!
