The Morgan House
The Morgan House has been a cornerstone restaurant in Dublin, Ohio, since 1985. Its original structure was erected out of a log cabin dating back to the Civil War era, named after famed veteran John Hunt Morgan.
The cabin was moved shortly after the Civil War to its current location and has evolved into a destination for luncheons and catered events. Producer George Levert heads over there to find out more about its history.
Ohio's Civil War Battle Flags
During the American Civil War, Ohio provided over 200 regiments. Each one of the regiments carried a distinctive flag, and many of these flags are housed at the Ohio History Connection. Military history curator Benjamin Baughman showcases some of the museum’s battle flags in storage.
Abraham Lincoln’s Funeral Train
On April 15, 1865, President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated and following his death, his body traveled on a funeral train, dubbed “The Lincoln Special” to 13 stops, including Columbus, Ohio.
Curious Cbus investigates a viewer's question about a rumor that Lincoln’s body was stored in the basement of a High Street restaurant during the Funeral Train stop in Columbus.
