While I'm disturbed that this is required, don't disagree with it. I was told, in 2008, not to come into office unless my hair was straightened. My hair was long, curly and yeah, its big. Theres nothing I can do about it.. all the product in the world can't tame it. 🤷‍♀️ My boss said my hair was beautiful, the first woman hed hit on in a bar, the last he'd do business with... I billed the most in the agency that year, cut my hair so short it couldn't be straightened and quit, as soon as I could find another job. (Took 2 years since we were in a recession). Btw.. I am caucasian (white).

If employers don't like the color of someone's hair they don't have to hire them. FYI: that is not illegal discrimination. It has to be based on race, religion,phy. disability etc.

@@SarahAnnBellham it’s my religion that nobody is my hair keeper unless I say so. No man nor woman covers me in any decision whatsoever, I am a man. It is not lawful for anyone to attempt to control anything about me that isn’t causing harm to another. I’m an Ohioan.

@@SarahAnnBellham and… fyi… an employer doesn’t have to hire blacks as long as they don’t divulge their reason. Discrimination is only illegal if you admit to it. Same goes for any establishment. They can discriminate all they want until they say it out loud. So if they are stupid enough to say, “I’m not hiring you because your hair is blonde and your eyes are blue.” Then they have just become criminally liable. If they simply, hire someone without blue eyes and blonde hair… no harm, no foul… just suspicion and circumstance. It’s pretty simple.

@@rickbaldwin6291 But why would I want to hire blacks when I can hire people who show up on time, respect my equipment/each other, and treat the customers well? Every time I've ever hired one ("my sister's husband 🧐 needs a job" is a classic, you people think landing a 250 lb blonde whale is an accomplishment) it's a problem from Day One. Constant bitching, playing with the phone on the job site, the attitude... Such a narcissistic, self-important group that is collectively worthless despite trillions of dollars of handouts and special treatment. Grow the hell up and start raising your children in two-parent households like the rest of us.

@@SarahAnnBellham Hair color dye is a CHOICE. Natural hair is not. This is flowing out of head. Even if I cut it off, it will still grow back this way. If you dye your hair red or purple, it will not grow back that way.
