I'm pretty sure that's an A+B Horn, very similar to an AA-2 but smoother. It sounds like Steamranger 507.

It’s definitely an AA-1 but is out of tune. Right now it’s out of service for new diaphragms, which I’ve been told can influence sound enough to make it sound like a different note. I’m personally not a horn expert enough to know enough about the sound, but it’s definitely supposed to be an AA-1 which is the correct horn for a couple other cars at this museum.

@@CSXGirl822 It's actually an Wabco AAC-1 (C = Curved bells) tuning plays around 311/405 and also uses the same diaphragms on the Wabco AA1 which I happen to own.

I mean, if we can rig it to fit the air piping... And thanks! I had to physically run down the mainline to get to Potter Street before the 3:30 run, hopefully a few visitors at least got a laugh out of that!

@@CSXGirl822 I saw a few fitted to model traction engines that were about that size, it's probably feasible. (Union Pacific genuinely did this at one point, but with a DD series) That is indeed a mood
