@@skyserf I came here because Jim Gaffigan used his song for Cleveland and wanted to see his other material. I then looked up Cincinnati. I dont know about the people. City council seems to be 1/3 progressive, Republican and Democrat equally. And the Mayor has been Democrat or progressive for quite some time. The tourumism song was funny. I thought he was doing it to make a joke and sound douchey, not that he was. I've lived in and around downtown areas, suburbs, rural and country. And I hate living and going into the big cities. Having stores around is nice. You gotta look out for bad stuff no matter where you go. Best bet is almost finding the sweet spot between inner cities and the sticks. This video is an interesting perspective from what seems to be an elitist progressive. The middle of the road one's like Jimmy Dore are pretty close to the Hardcore Libertarians with many subjects. More than they differ. But differ at all as you get more progressive and you dont seem to get anywhere. They dig in to their fortified tower and launch out boiling hot insults. I just didnt like the toity vibe I got. Maybe it's how, as usual taught progressives, they attack all behavior politically and not geographically. For as smart as they claim to be and sometimes are, thain't too brite

Basically, what it means to be a Democrat or to be a Republican has changed drastically over the history of our great nation. In the 1860 election, the Democratic party actually split along geographic lines and ran two candidates; a moderate from the North and a conservative uber-pro-slavery guy from the South. It split the Dem electoral vote nationwide. Lincoln the Republican was considered the "liberal" in his day (though not as liberal as some of his Republican bretheran from the Northeast).
