When you started playing three camps I was like, dude I learned that in high school. Without it i would not have been able to get squad leader freshmen year

What in the world is three camps?

@@hustonnagy3332 Ohio State marches to 8 unique cadences. Cadences 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. There is no Cadence 3, because that is named Three Camps. No idea why it has a name, but it was obviously special to someone.

One of the band teachers (likely a previous one) at your school must have gone to OSU. My high school band marched Ohio State cadences and stand tunes because our long-serving band teacher was an OSU alum and band member. If a future teacher tries to change that, there will be a riot.

In measures 43-47 of the snare part for Bucks Beat 2017, since the notes are placed one space higher, do you still play it on the head or do you play it on the rim?
@DunsonDrums6 жыл бұрын
No that was actually just a typo haha. It is all played in the center of the drum

Is this taken in your dorm room? Hope the others are band members too ;) Okay, Ryan here's a joke for ya. I've commented on almost every video. My son & I were burning brush outside & had the radio playing. Metallica came on. My son turned around was laughing & said, "Mom what are you doing"? I said, "I'm Lars & I'm playing the drums". He said, "that's actually pretty good. You've got the right beat". Ha., I can't play drums. Hope you have a fantastic time at OSU. You'll have a lot of memories to share.

I'm trying to find the sheet music for "Ramp Cadence" for my son but haven't been able to find it. Is it included in the Cadence Series at the link that you shared? Thanks!

Your nice with the drum, sounds like a practice pad can we get one in the head? I’ll give you 150 views myself it’s a lot easier watching you than the the whole line trying to learn these

So at the end of the cadence series at 2:40, is that phrase you move into written anywhere because I can't find it.
@DunsonDrums7 жыл бұрын
I don't believe that it is on our website. However, I'm pretty sure you can google "Three camps exercise" and a variation of it should appear. Hope this helps!
