It’s important to note that Ohio State isn’t a bad team. They played well. They have beaten almost everyone else except Michigan the last three years. And OSU was ranked #1 part of the season. But Michigan has raised their level of play to the point that they are a legit National Championship contender! This is a great team at Michigan! Arguably the best team in the country. That’s what it takes to win the Big 10 now. And it will only get tougher next year with four PAC teams joining the Big 10.

I thought he was crazy saying the second half would be all about establishing the run after a first half where neither team got anything on the ground. Or in 1988, when OSU ran it down Michigan’s throats to get back into the game and take a late lead, only for Kolesar to beat them on a deep PASS again to win it. Or total defensive domination games, like 1990 and 1992. Or a defensive battle in 1996 blown open by a big catch and run by Streets. Or a game Michigan lost on poor special teams play, like 1998. Turnovers and special teams play winning it for them the year before in 1997. Or 1999, where OSU ran the ball much better than Michigan, but their garbage QB kept throwing picks, and Michigan had Tom Brady. Or 2005, where U-M blew a two score lead in the final five minutes because of Ohio State’s passing. Or 2006, where Michigan asserted itself like crazy in the run game in the second half, but lost anyway. Or games like 2012 or 2016, where second half turnovers were the deciding factor. Did you just watch the last two and think that was universal?

Ryan Day coached to not lose, instead of coaching to win. He punted on 4th and 1 at midfield, and kicked a long field goal on 4th and 2 with 35 seconds left in the 1st half. Michigan went for it on almost every 4th down and short yardage, meaning they coached to win, and they won. Ryan Day is the problem, and he needs to be fired. It also doesn't help that their QB is garbage, and it's Day's fault that they went into the season with the QB room they did.

Try to keep up next time. In addition Fleming only made two steps going out while Wilson had made 4 steps as he crossed the goal line.

Klatt called that Michigan td as questionable when the receiver took four steps , ( that's control) , then went two yards deep into the end zone with the ball, then had OSU player rip it out klatt called it questionable, and said it should come back. He took four steps with the ball, then went two yards deep , once the ball broke the plain, it was a touchdown. Klatt acts like he didn't know this ..
