@OzzzyEditz our 19 starters that had been out
@larrypilgrim123 жыл бұрын
@@whymeme5841 you had 1 defensive tackle out and his back up is better, proven through snap production stats. @ defensive backs out who have been questioned all year and made no difference as Utah wasn't throwing to the receivers. 1 linebacker who has been sat down and replaced with tight end or a running back who have played there this year and are a fit, RB's and TE's play naturally at those 2 positions through high school and Ohio States linebackers have been bad all year. So 4 on defense at different levels who haven't played great all year. 1 offensive tackle, and Utah didn't rush and Ohio state stayed away from Lloyd on that side. Left tackle made no difference. As for Olave and Wilson all of their yards went to Ngigba this game. Whoever they wanted to get 1 on 1 with Utah's running back playing corner was going to have a good day. Saying OSU was missing that many starters is a lie. They were missing 7 and I believe Utah only had 7 more players than OSU in total. This OSU was missing crap is nonsense. It's like saying our corners were out vs. Army. Having 2 corners available vs The #1 passing attack in the country is a major issue. 2 WR's missing and an average tackle on offense was not a problem nor would it be for Ohio state. Missing a bad defensive tackle who Michigan pummeled wasn't an issue. 1 linebacker hasn't been an issue for Ohio state, the entire linebacker room has been an issue.

@OzzzyEditz some Ohio state fans are embarrassed Utah was able to run with them and really could have beaten them. Rather than look at the totality and the reality of the game and circumstances behind both teams those fans are embarrassed. It's plain and simple. Until Ohio state tested the running back playing corner Utah shut them down the first 2 drives. They tried the short game and Utah's front 7 played great. Once realizing the weakness on the back end they went after it which is what you should do. Ohio states linebackers have been bad all year and they weren't going to stop Utah as they have dominated better linebacking duo's. Not to mention Kuithe getting hurt changed things for the offense. The guy that was dominating Ohio states defense got hurt. Their defense wasn't any better the second half, an injury to Utah's #1 receiver hurt. In the end Ohio state won and deserve the credit. But these clowns with their we were missing crap should shut up. 7 starters and 17 water boys weren't in the game for Ohio state. And the 7 starters would have made 0 impact on the final.

As a spoiled Buckeye fan, I almost didn't even care to watch this game. We turned the game on with the thought of whatever, it's on in the background and wow, we were cheering like it was the natty. No matter what game/bowl...Buckeyes for life.

What a great game. Really wish Utah hasn't been so decimated at CB so they could've defended better but still a phenomenal performance and amazing game

He couldn't have done it without Stroud's pinpoint accuracy! From a freshman! And Harrison stepping up, too. Way to go Buckeyes!

This game has an eerie similarity to the Georgia-Oklahoma rose bowl a few years ago. Started off as a blowout, then suddenly its a close down to the wire high scoring game at the end with one player dominating the stat line.
@altspencer22643 жыл бұрын
yes, i felt the exact same way also just for fun, the UGA/OU game ended regulation with a score of 45-45, which would’ve been this game’s score if OSU had failed to get a field goal or score
@8MoneyIzmyMission82 жыл бұрын
There Wasn't one played dominating the stat line in that UGA/OU game though. QB Fromm threw for 210 and 2 TDs Mayfield threw for 290 and 2 TD with an int. RB Michel had 181 yards and 3 TDs, Chubb had 142 yards and 2 TDs, and Anderson had 200 yards and 2 TD WR Wims had 73 yards and a TD, Brown had 114 yards and 1 TD The RBs on both teams went off, but even still, both teams were damn near identical stats wise (UGA 527 yards 54 points, OU 531 yards 48 points). It's one of the few games I go back to at least once a year (as a LSU fan, the 2019 LSU season is on repeat at least 3 times a year).

Yea Harrison junior gonna eat for sure next year!! Jaxson is sweet as hell but part of why he was so effective was because defenses had to account for both Olave and Wilson. Now with jaxson being the apparent guy. Harrison gonna do some amazing things

Part of the reason he had so many yards is that number 2 on Utah is a running back
