Wonderful video, a lot of creators ramble in a way that breaks my brain, but your conversational tone and clarity is really good. At least around 5 minutes into the video

Hey, I appreciate that. I can never convince myself to talk all KZbinr-y, and have had to work a lot to get good at talking casually like this.

There's a reason so many astronauts are from Ohio. There's just something about this place that screams "I don't want to live on this planet anymore"
@TheQuietPartisLoud8 ай бұрын
Hahaha. We really did have a lot of astronauts didn't we?

Space is a psy-op. Most astronauts are freemasons.

i really liked this video. i’m not from the midwest. i cannot relate to all of the things you said directly, yet i feel parallels from my own youth. i don’t know how to describe it but this video captured a feeling. i just wanted to say i was shocked when i saw this was a small video from a small creator. keep going man, you’re good at this.

Yeah this was equal parts about Ohio in general, and my life growing up there. Ohio or not, it can be rough all over!

I was born in Chicago but my family moved back to Northwest Ohio when I was around 4 years old. Been here since but have been lucky enough to travel all up the east coast with my family for a little under a month. Currently studying Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at BGSU (Go Falcons!) but remembering the east coast makes me really wish I moved more than 45 minutes to go for college. Don’t get me wrong I love Northwest Ohio, and I might miss it when I’m gone, but I’m itching to move away.

I ended up loving BGSU nonetheless! I learned a lot in college, and was grateful to go there despite the flaws.

@@TheQuietPartisLoud I love the campus! My mom works on campus and I’ve spent many summers when i was younger in her office with her, and I think part of the reason I am just so restless to move away is because it does feel like a second home, but don’t get me wrong the campus still is great!

I spent the first 22 years of my life in Ohio also. Spent the first 13 in Columbus, but then we moved north to Mt. Gilead for some reason.... Ended up joining the military at 22 and did 10 years, lived in California, Virginia, and Florida. After I got out, I ended up moving back to the Columbus area for family, cost of living, etc. Every place has it's ups and downs
@TheQuietPartisLoud8 ай бұрын
Totally. Ohio has lots of reasons for being a good place to settle down and raise a family. If I remember Ohio actually has a really big population compared to some states.

It's been pretty good so far. I'm really impressed how kind you, and everyone else have been! I know it's a small channel privilege, but I like actually getting to know some of these names, and share stories.

I remember having a dream one time. And I was in this liminal space ass Kansas. It was flat green everywhere. No mountains no hills no buildings just roads and billboards. Maybe a farm or water tower. It was a dream so I don't really remember much except for the general vibe but I remember something like that. It's generally the sort of image I think of when I think of the Midwest other than my memories growing up in it. Especially Kansas for some reason
@TheQuietPartisLoud8 ай бұрын
You somehow captured the entire essence in the creepiest way and I love that. It genuinely feels like a liminal space.

Does anybody remember an excellent emo band who used to tour indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois around the 2006 era called the Red Racer.

how about being penned in by manhattan skyscrapers? that's where i went to college and it's the only thing i have to compare. i am from iowa, i gained a greater appreciation for being able to see the the whole sky around me. in manhattan the direct sunlight would only get to me at about 10am and i'm pretty sure that was a reflection anyway. and i still love nyc but that was definitely the most jarring thing, you have to look all the way up and have like a 20% view. literally never been anywhere you can see a mountain, i do like that switzerland vibe though.

@@TheQuietPartisLoud it's ironic you still think you're part of some counterculture when you couldn't be any more mainstream. It's truly sad. There's literally no reason to talk shit about an entire group of people in your ridiculous video., but liberals just cant help but make things political. The predictability would be hilarious if it weren't so damn tragic. You're no better than the "old people " who live in Ohio, kid. Grow up.
