I totally disagree how Justin criticizes logos for having "overpowering" word marks. I think representing the city, the name should be just as important. But that's just me :) Great vid!!

Brian BayJ0nes Gosselin so just Wild or Blackhawks on the ice...that’s pretty boring and plus, most hockey teams have wording even bigger than the logo itself, that’s really overkill to me. (Wild and Blackhawks are not my favorite teams, just picked them because they didn’t have wording in their logo)

A few things to note: #1 Owen Sound is the city/town. The team name is 'Attack'; They're the 'Owen Sound Attack'. #2 The insect on the Sarnia Sting logo is a bee head (bees sting - and black and yellow). #3 I'm not a fan of the Petes' logo (I live in Peterborough), but it's not baseball: The letters mesh together too much, it wouldn't stretch out enough to fit across the chest of a shirt. #4 Colorado's logo with the C around a ball comes from the actual state flag...maybe you know that.

The Kitchener Rangers used to be the Guelph Royals who were also the New York Rangers Farm team until they moved them to Kitchener in 1963 where they remained the Rangers farm team until 1967 when Emile Francis sold the team to Eugene George for 1$. I suggest watching this video about the Rangers history

+EDDYC15 oh we definitely know the historical significance and relations of these parterned teams, as it's very important! However for this specific series of logo rankings, historical significance plays no roll or has no influence.

My favourite OHL logo would probably be one that wasn't shown here. I don't know if they don't use it anymore but the 67's logo that had the hockey puck as the logo. Also I think people could use this video as a drinking game with their buddies, every time somebody says I'm not a fan of the letters/words, you take a shot lol

The sop greyhounds, kingston frontenac, kitchener rangers, Sudbury wolves, Ottawa 67s, & oshawa general's are the oil version of the original 6. And just like the nhl 6. The logos are so iconic within the league. That they don't change them. The funny thing is though. I know more about ohl history than a couple of Quebecers. And i'm not even Canadian. I'm American

Btw the Kitchener rangers did not steal the logo, back in the day when there was no ahl NHL farm teams were the ohl teams. Coincidentally the ny rangers farm team was the Kitchener rangers so that's why there logos r the same.

The Kitchener rangers used to be the feeder team to the NY rangers back in the day, that’s why they have such a similar logo and in order to retain that history they keep the logo

05:23..... The Steelhead is a type of Trout that is prevalent in Lake Ontario which Mississauga is located on. Lake Ontario is one of the premiere Steelhead fisheries in the world

I hate these kinds of people, who nitpick every little thing, hating perfectly good logos for small reasons, while also getting facts so clearly wrong because they didn't do ANY research into the teams. Sarnia Sting's Logo is clearly a WASP, it's the Sarnia STING, and it's not The Owen Sound, it's the Owen Sound ATTACK, and that's a Bear, like a Bear ATTACKING the opposing team. And if he hated London Knight's Black and Gold logo for having a bit of green in it, than he'd hate our Current Black, White, Gold and GREEN logo, which honestly look WAY better than the older logo shown here
