Thank you so much for styling this video with both IPA and English/American pronunciation guides. I see, in a response to a comment, you explained your teaching method for this video. Shadowing: ( You explained this. In summary ) This is the teaching method in my high school German class. It worked very well. We learned to speak German in short order. Because we were speaking German all the time, out loud. Wiederholen Sie nach mir ! Repeat after me ! The teacher commands this to the students. Then the students repeat everything the teacher says in German. This is the best method for me. Shadowing. It is ACTIVE learning. Reading is fine. It's easy to learn. And, after a while, you can learn on your own. Listening is O.K. But, French is not easy to pronounce. So, what are you really hearing ? The keys: 1. Pronunciation guides 2. Shadowing. Repeat after me Repetition is required for learning. Understanding new words and phrases is also required for learning. After words and phrases, more context helps to clarify. ❤ Thanks for all the work ❤

Yikes ! This video has two audio tracks. If your default language is English, you get an awful robot voice which makes this video unwatchable… for me anyway. Go to settings and select the French audio track to make the universe right again.

Not sure what is the idea behind this style. Your videos are normally superb - this one seems laboured, even for absolute beginners. Perhaps you might consider using a different channel for this phonetic/American method, rather than risk your main channel? Sorry to be negative, but, as I say, this approach does not seem good.

Shadowing is a language learning technique where learners repeat what they hear immediately, focusing on rhythm, intonation, and pronunciation. While it may seem simple, it is not designed specifically for beginners but rather for learners at all levels to improve their listening and speaking skills naturally. I appreciate your perspective and will keep your suggestions in mind!
