Ohlins Steering Damper Upgrade for 2022 Livery HyperMotard 950 SP

I have a ‘21 Hyper 950. I just put a Ohlins damper on mine last week to cure the front wheel wanting to tank slap when hard on the throttle. Also noticed the front end gets light when north of 120MPH. Damper solved those two problems. Well worth $564 for whole kit from Motowheels in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Haven’t needed it on the road but fir the track it certainly help when the front end lifts out of corners and smacks down again ready for the next corner

So SP did have a Ohlins damper but it was silver ?

I just installed the same kit,is it me or does the stabilizer feel weak even in stiffest setting.

I don’t have mine turned up to max stiffness (in middle).. After using it the past year on track, when the front end comes up and lands again it doesn’t wobble for me - so maybe its doing something when in use compared to side to side steering lock check..?

@@hypermotardking it may be progressive hints it's easy till kinda activated forcefully while riding..I subscribe to your channel been learning as I'm not new to riding but new to ducati.

I haven’t really given the bike alot to deal with as still running it in.. but i like the solid feel which inspires confidence 👍🏻
