The members of this group were Iris Parker, Alisha Randolph and Valerie Victoria. Victoria was the one with the brown hair and green eyes, Parker was the light skinned one with the bow and arrow, and Randolph was the one strutting and singing in the last part of the video. Sadly Randolph passed away on December 07, 2005. Lace and The cover Girls also came out during that period. Like Madame X they were not around for all that long either.

@@deangrant9575 - Perhaps, in addition to that, it was too different for a lot of people. I was a teenager, and there was a lot of pressure to conform to a narrow-minded conception of "blackness" I largely ignored it and listened to the music I liked. But the pressure was there. I don't know how things were for older people at the time. But I would imagine that most people over 40 wouldn't have liked it if they heard it. Younger people were used to electronic music, but older people weren't.

@@loki2240 It was too much commercialization back then, I was really an alternative black girl who listened to electric dance music, funk, rock, metal and I dressed very extreme. People were listening to Whitney Houston and not given the really cool music a chance back then. I had Madame X's album and thought it was a electronic dance music masterpiece! I loved Madonna but she was even watered down compared to this. Prince's genius was out in force but he had tone down a little bit for the masses. I understand exactly what you are saying.
