They made good music together. He wrote 2 top 10 songs on her Grammy award winning first album. (Best New Artist) Looking For A New Love-#2 Some Kind Of Lover-#10 He and Jody wrote Still A Thrill together it hit #8 on the Dance charts. He even did his Prince thing, he played ALL the instruments on many of the songs on that album. I don’t know how or why they got divorced but they made awesome music together.

Yes he could. He even said as much on a record “Take This Beat” Take this beat I don’t mind I got plenty others And they so fine He also did a special sample project that he wanted to sell for 700 bucks. It was made for Hip Hop producers and that cost was the only thing they ever had to pay. No permissions would be required and no royalties would ever need to be paid. If was a 7 CD set and it was chocked full of material. It never got released.

Every track composed and produced during that time was a reflection of the divine wrapped in a mouth-watering groove. There was nothing like it. I doubt there ever will be. Damn in St Patrick's weekend 2002 this should of been playing in O'Hare airport when i got off plane. As every SS agent stopped and looked at me talking on my cell. Window dropping out of building as i landed.

very very talented writer of music that he simply gave away to other artists and they simply came -up because of this. The man just loved music and for me as a fan it's a life time worth being alive today to have witnessed a human being talented as prince make such incredible music decade after decade and still be current with his music audience just show how ahead of his time he was truly will be missed

+Aussiebattlervideos2 He is not related to Prince, but Prince did help him with this song. In fact this was one of Prince's unreleased songs that he worked with Andre Cymone on. P.S. they were childhood friends for a long time and he was in Prince's early bands like Grand Central. Believe it or not, i'm only 14 and know so much about Prince you would think i'm like 50:)
