Exercises won't work because my dog knows when it's that time of the year given that some people already set fireworks off randomly starting from mid November

Mine too. Even me petting him doesn't work for him. Ever since I adopted him he was already scared of loud noises, not just fireworks but also of other loud noises like thunder and heavy rain.

I live in Waipahu, Hawaii. This neighborhood is absolutely disgusting what they do to animals every single day. Short leashes and small cages, left out all night and day.
