Hi, could you have unscrewed and taken the oil filter out from the top whilst packing the underside with newspaper to catch the oil from the filter? Thanks, K.

hi, yes I am sure it can be done from above as required. It's not in the best place so will make a mess either way! best sticking with your bike! I've just been up and down the Pennines on mine today :) trans pennine trail, yeah!
