These cars were really pretty simple when you consider it. I had an '04 50th anniversary GT with a manual, and it was great. I really liked that overall it was basic, not all technology driven. Working on the engine was easy as everything under the hood was pretty open. There was almost nothing i couldn't get or do with this car, what little I did was subframe reinforcements which made a big difference, and if I kept it longer i would have replaced the lower rear control arms to reduce the rear wheel steering that was so bad on these. I still have a complete K&N cold air intake kit I took back off before I sold it, a Ford performance handling kit I bought and some other bits for it. i need to find someone with one of these to sell it all to. These were nice cars, so much like the Crown vic when you think about it, another basic and amazingly solid car.
