I think you were supposed to use that spring from the oil filter on the new one because its supposed to keep pressure on the cover

Make sure the oil is wet clutch compatible. O ring and copper washer on drain plug should be replaced as well.

Yes, I purchased the cab at a dealer in Toronto, Ontario and installed it my self. I have a video posted showing the install .

I’m not sure you should be using synthetic with a wet clutch.

As long as it's JASO MA it is ok for wet clutches, synthetic or not.
