My parrot gets soooo excited when she hears the popcorn popper. She always gets three (cooled, unseasoned) pieces of popcorn when I make myself a bowl. Nutritional yeast is my favorite popcorn seasoning. Sometimes I'll do paprika, garlic, and nutritional yeast, but just plain nutritional yeast is amazing on its own.

***UPDATE*** Since posting this video, we have discovered that Pop Zest recently changed their recipes. Unlike the packages we have in our pantry, all three varieties now list either extra virgin olive oil or sunflower oil as their final ingredient. The packages in our pantry also list a variety of tree nuts as ingredients, but those are not included in the newer versions. Please read any labels carefully before purchasing if you have any specific restrictions / allergies!

This spice mixture looks delish! Will make it soon. I put dill pickle juice in a mini spray bottle and keep it in the fridge for spraying on popcorn. It doesn't taste like pickles on the popcorn, but it definitely helps hold a spice mix. 🥒

The last 15-20 years however long this season has been out it is Everglades Seasoning it's in a white and green container. Old Bay Seasoning is really good if you like spicy!.. I also like Nutritional Yeast and Parma Vegan Parmesan Garlicky Green... I like all four of these Seasoning individually or some of them together, on potatoes, rice, green beans, all kinds of things!! Whenever I want a little kick on something that's my go-to's....I really enjoy your videos thanks for sharing your recipe can't wait to try it out chili and cheez that would be a nice change!! ✌️💕🤗

I make a knock off to Lil Lads Herbal popcorn which is sold at Whole Foods. I am not sure if its just a New England product. Its the most addictive substance I have ever eaten. My knock off seasoning is roughly (as I don't measure) , 1/2 cup nooch, 1/2t onion powder, 1/4t garlic powder, 1/4t citric acid powder OR 1/2t lemon juice powder, 1/4 t salt, 1/4 t paprika and 1T dried dill weed whirred in a small food processor or spice mill. I actually make this in large batches to sprinkle on foods that need just a little something else. I look forward to trying your blend. I imagine it must have a sort of nacho cheese vibe. Edited to add...You both look awesome. I swear you are thinner each video. Jessica the thing I notice the most is how wonderful your skin looks now...glowing!

Love the haircut, Jessica! I rarely eat popcorn because I don't have an air popper, but I am thinking about getting one and will definitely try the chili cheez recipe. Normally, I just like my popcorn plain because I am just weird that way, but I do like an italian based mix, just haven't found one that I really like yet, so I might have to do some experiments on my own. Thanks guys! You two Krocks rock!

This message is from Brian’s girlfriend Margret. We’ve been following you guys for a couple months now and enjoy your content very much! Thanks so much for this recipe! Your hair looks so cute Jessica! We tried your spice mix, so tasty! We like to add a little citric acid to our popcorn mix to make it just a little brighter. We also added just a touch of cayenne to make it a little hotter. We sometime make one with black pepper and citric acid which is super tasty, which tastes kind of like salt and pepper. Or we’ve made one with curry powder, I bet that would be good with nutritional yeast too.

1 week potato diet, 1 week mostly vegan (I ate some fish and have milk in my tea/coffee once a day). I've lost 5KG/11lb so far. Most of it was the first week. Now it is slow and steady. I'm eating two meals a day between 12 and 6pm. One is home made veg soup. The other a medley of random stuff like riced veg, grains, beans, mushrooms, spinach, garlic, shallots, sun dried tomato etc. I already feel more comfortable in my clothes and I'm never bloated. I'm letting my self have some sugar or red meat every other weekend as I go forward. It was my son's birthday so I had a small slice of cake this weekend. I ate it very slowly :) This diet is definitely sustainable.

Aqua fava(the extra liquid from making beans) can also be used as a liquid and no salt. Also note my sister worked at a movie theater and she said they had to wear special gloves to wash down the popcorn machine because the oil and whatever was on the popcorn will cause chemical burns! Think of that if you’re ever tempted to eat it...

My fav seasoning mix is Himalayan sea salt (it really does taste better, imho), garlic powder, Rosemary, and nutritional yeast. I turn it into popcorn dust in my Vitamix to help it stick to the popcorn better, but it still falls to the bottom! I'm trying to find a spray er that will do a super fine mist of liquid. I don't use Bragg's liquid aminos anymore because of the excited toxins but I did save the spray bottle!

Hey Krocks, I am still making my way through your awesome vids but wanted to mention Benson’s Table Tasty seasoning. I got it after reading the How Not To Die book by Dr Greger. He recommends it in the sodium section of the book. The Table Tasty is the only sodium free seasoning that ACTUALLY (freaks my brain out) tastes like salt?!?!! Whaaaaa. I have cut way back on my sodium but was missing it on popcorn so we got this stuff. Popcorn game changer!!!
@TraceyTruly5 жыл бұрын
P.s. I have found a bit of nut butter or tahini mixed thoroughly on popcorn makes a nice coating that allows seasonings to stick and gives you that rich quality S.A.D popcorn had. Gotta work it through with your hands, but once coated it does not make the popcorn get soggy!
