Oil & gas companies must invest in renewables.

CDP, in partnership with the World Benchmarking Alliance, launched its second assessment of top oil and gas companies from around the world, including BP, ExxonMobil, and Saudi Aramco.
Overwhelmingly the assessment shows that the sector has made little to no progress toward the Paris Agreement goals since 2021. Without this crucial sector decarbonizing there is no credible pathway to a 1.5 aligned future.
