Mine requires a miracle to remove, yours came off as easy as drawing a fucking breath. I haven't had one job on this f n tj that was easy.

Yeah it wasn't too bad. I think I did edit some parts out just figuring the best way to do it. 😆😆 I am chacing a high heat 235°F at higher speeds issue right now... ugh Thanks for watching!

@@Waveshank It's finally done, this TJ came from Ocracoke Island in NC, so it has seen its fair share of salt water, salt air making the most routine jobs a challenge. But it beats farming it out to the tune of a $75 install. I can do 70% of the work, but the other 30% is above my skill level and I have to concede those to a pro which ticks me off. I got a 2000 Jeep TJ with the 4.0 6L engine. Its go the same motor. Would it fit?
@Waveshank3 жыл бұрын
The components on the 4.0 have changed over the years. I have a pdf of the parts numbers for my year 2006. I would do a search for a FSM and Parts document. Or maybe check a Jeep forum. Thanks for watching.

You should know that 4.0 means 4.0 liters. You do not have a 4.0Liter 6Liter engine

Do these parts really make a big difference and how?? My CCV elbow looks like it's leaking. How does it effect engine performance??
@Waveshank3 жыл бұрын
I really don't like having any leaks in general, plus here is an quote from summit racing, "The slight vacuum in the crankcase improves the seal of the piston rings and valve stems. This keeps the compression in the chamber, where you want it. A PCV system also reduces windage and oil aeration. These cause drag on the rotating assembly and rob you of some power." However this is a CCV not a PVC system so it may not make as much difference. I would have to look into it a bit more. Thanks for watching.

@@Waveshank. Q? One mechanic said that the CCV should be on the front and the PCV on the back! That your car will run better?🤣 What do you say??
@Waveshank3 жыл бұрын
@@jat-justamaturetech-philpj8285 I would say that it all depends on the original engineering of the vacuum/crankcase system.

It can cause smoking out the exhaust, because it’s connected to your air filter, it goes through the intake and into the combustion chamber
