it isn't any help if you don't show the removal of all parts to get to valve cover

He left at the reinstallation of the valve cover and bolting it back down and reconnecting everything back up?

My NGK plugs say "do not apply anti-seize", and it I go against their recommendation I need to reduce the torque when I install them... Those look like they already have their own form of anti-seize on them also. But that's why you're the pro, which I am not. Thanks for sharing.

Hey! Do you need to replace a whole valve cover or you can keep the old cover just replace the gasket?
@ThompsonAutoTest3 жыл бұрын
You can replace just the gasket. Don’t forget to replace both the valvetronic gasket and the valve cover gasket. Sometimes you will find the plastic valve cover has warped and the crank case ventilation is blocked.

@@ThompsonAutoTest I see, it is best to replace the valve cover too. Damnn I need to replace mine soon, and I think I am going to do the same thing. Have you replaced the eccentric shaft sensor?

Did he say replace oil once a year? I heard to replace every 5k miles have i been doing it too often?

High quality synthetic oil manufactures have recommended intervals for the life of their products. Some engines are more prone to oil contamination than others, and turbocharger applications require an oil that can withstand the high temperatures experienced in the turbocharger assembly. If you change your oil to often you would be spending more money on your engine than you need to but would not be hurting it whatsoever.
