Justin, you are a blessing. Please keep on doing what you're doing and keep up the great work. Years ago I followed an artist on Channel 10 called Bill Alexander and then Bob Ross. I have been addicted to painting ever since. I am so happy and proud that new young artists like you continue to learn and carry on the legacy of these two innovative art pioneers. Thank you for sharing your talent.

This morning KZbin dumped a bunch of crap channels in my "Recommended" area, some on topics of which I never ever showed the slightest interest. But among this inundation of digital slop and swill I glimpsed a hidden treasure - a thumbnail of this painting. I had clicked off the YT opening page in following some rabbit trail, but was able to retrace my steps and find you again. What a great joy and delight this video is!!! I'm so surprised I never stumbled onto your channel before. Not only do you have a style that I resonate with in my paintings - but you seem to have the same relaxed attitude toward the process that I do! I don't care either if I don't exactly and realistically paint in light areas to accurately depict them, if I like the way something looks, that's what's important to me. I use rags sometimes to block in the sky, plastic pot scrubbers to make bushes, Qtips to highlight the side of trees. Even the way you casually move your brush around, is what I do. Love your process. Love your finished work!!!! I've found the YT artist I'm most attuned to. Please keep the demos coming. A big thank you from upstate New York.

Watched your video tonight. it was just what I needed. been painting all my life. My husband died almost 2 years ago. I haven't been able to pick up a brush until tonight. Just saying thanks Justin for the motivation tonight. I moved 3000 miles from where I grew up and landed here in Florida. Guess I'm ready to get back to making something as you said. thanks again, Debby Moore 2022

The different colors show up you can even see the hints of blue in your dark colors. I really like the mountains color. It’s cold here, probably not as cold where you live, and it’s nice to see other colors besides snow. It’s gives options other than white. It’s a beautiful painting. Thank you Kathy

Wow man! I love watching you paint dude. You're just incredible! I've been trying to paint. I have all the brushes, paint, easel & palette but I don't know if I'm using too much liquid white or not enough & maybe I'm using too much paint on my brushes - I don't know. I've done a couple that are ok but just can't seem to get it where I want it. I can draw anything I look at & am just getting frustrated. Any suggestions ?? Anyways I really dig your channel & you're just incredible man! Keep doing the good stuff!🤘😁🤘

I am new to painting and have only done one painting which I hated, so I covered over it, put down my paints and haven't painted since! I'm now in that rut of just looking at the canvas. Your picture is beautiful and If I had your talent I don't think I would have a problem coming up with something to paint.
@PaintingsbyJustin
@PaintingsbyJustin 5 жыл бұрын
You can do it !! Take your canvas and put a blue background in , then add a few clouds. After that make a closeup oak tree or pine tree and focus only on that tree. That’s what I do sometimes and it totally works !

@@gailstritzel9066 you may be a beginner and you may feel like a failure but there is no need to feel that way when there are so many good KZbin people out there willing to give us a view into their world and to show us how to do things right pick your brushes back up and make one stroke on the painting then make another with all your favorite colors don't even make anything just make colors that's what I have on my walls in a couple places because nothing came out right so I just blend it all the colors together on my canvas and they were so pretty they became a painting in themselves no one's perfect I have some pretty bad paintings on my walls that I've done and I can see all the faults with them but they're still creations of mine and they give me a memory of something special that I was trying to paint that day if I had more memory on my camera I would show you but my camera is so bad on this phone I can't do anything with it now I also I mean my memory somehow my memory has all been used up anyway back to you get those paints out get it clean canvas and that's the real problem that clean canvas no one can hardly start the paint when it's all white throw some paint on that sucker and get it covered after that you'll feel better just stroke back and forth make some circles make some squares make some triangles find one little thing a spoon even I've painted just a spoon before just practice making this bun look real or whatever it is you have in front of you take those little steps and before you know it you'll be feeling better again and keep looking for more KZbin videos on how to get some of these people out here are really really good good luck keep your chin up and keep painting keep creating

To push back make the things that are further away very light in color and use blue. Things in the distance appear very light and pale.
