Hi Justin. I am a new viewer of your wonderful painting tutorials. I can so relate to much of what you have experienced. The one thing that I can definitely relate to is Art and how it is great for those suffering from Depression, which I have dealt with for many years. Life's ups and downs and those very unexpected events nobody can control. I love your paintings and you are so easy to listen to. Please keep doing what you are doing and Thank you for being accessible to those of us who like simplicity in instruction. I'm a new fan! God Bless, Blaire

I love your work! I have been taking an oil painting class for the past two years and lately have felt stressed with the detail my instructor wants me to put in. Since finding your channel, I am inspired to stay home and be free with my talent. Thank you for making painting enjoyable!!

Justin I must also say that you are a great encourager and that is what I seem to do best as well . I am 76 years old and was born with Spina Bifida and my doctor says that he thinks that I am probably the oldest person still alive with this birth defect. So I try very hard to encourage any one I can in anyway I can. All the very best to you Justin keep up the great work. You are doing a lot of good to a lot of people around the world.

I’m 50 years old and We have started painting about the same time! Isn’t it amazing? I’m still blown away that someone can learn this later in life? Btw I’m pretty sure you are younger still! Haha anyone can paint! About a year ago I had a family paint party and had my all my kids painting and my sister in law and also my sons mother in law paint! Not one other person had painted before! They did a great job and were shocked that they could paint too! Why didn’t someone show us when we were kids??? I can’t wait for grand Babies! They are going to learn to paint early haha

Awesome! Im getting better thanks to you and a few other artists on the "Tube". My friends and family love my paintings, they're starting to put in requests. My mother already hung a painting I did in the living room for her Mothers Day gift. I'm still new and learning everyday thanks to artists like you. If and when I get better I'm going to give back to up and coming artists like me. I really appreciate the tutorials, keep up the great work Justin.

FANTASTIC!!! I’m an 81 year old grandmother and an aspiring artist. (Don’t laugh...). I know that I can do that. It’s just getting started. I bought a ton of paints and canvases and just started painting while watching Bob Ross one day. By the time I finished the picture, it didn’t look anything like the picture Bob painted. I ended up painting a cabin in the swamps of Louisiana. I was pleased with how it turned out so I took it to a local art teacher for an honest evaluation. She was so surprised at how well I had done since I never had an art lesson. She was amazed at the shading of the tree trunks and how she could feel the bark and texture of the whole painting. The reason I’m telling you this is NOT to brag, but to inspire people out there who crave to paint, and don’t have the confidence to try, to “JUST DO IT”. What do you have to lose? If it doesn’t turn out, just start another picture. Watch Justin and paint along with him. He makes it look so easy, and in actuality it is. Just like he says, you have to keep tweaking the picture. Since I’ve been watching him, I’ve learned a lot and I can see the mistakes I made in my “Swamp”. After planting season is over and I harvest my corn, tomatoes, squash and watermelons, I’m going to get back to painting. PS: I WAS TOLD BY MANY PEOPLE THAT I CANNOT DO THINGS THAT I WANT TO DO BECAUSE I’M TOO OLD. YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO TRY. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR FOR A CHECK-UP IF YOU WANT TO DO SOMETHING PHYSICAL LIKE GARDENING. My mother always said, “Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way”. Young people, this goes especially for you.

Fantastic Justin. You are a great artist and a wonderful person and humanitarian. I wish you were my brother. I would be so proud of you. This painting is magical and you show a lot of tips and what can be done if you don't like something. In the past if I had done something I didn't like I would have trashed the canvas but now I will just scrape off the paint and wipe over with a piece of kitchen roll. Keep on doing what you are doing. I love it. Hugs xxx
