My high school/"French in Action" French is pretty basic, but I would see the name "Bonjour Tristese" and figure it means something like "Hi There, Sad Girl". It looked like as you were reading, something sad happened in the story. You and your friends seem cool and fun together. I've obsessed over pretty much everything about the painting @06:50 for years. I have a print of it in a book somewhere. It's a "yes" to Izzy prints at some future date, btw.

Haha yes it means "Hello Sadness" and I think I need to stop reading 'sad girl' books for a while after it😅 Oh it was absolutely mesmerising in person, I spent a long time in front of it. Highly recommend seeing it if you ever get the chance to 😊

I think the small sketch is tremendous. It’s an artist thing not to like your own work. Even when you do like it, you probably wont when you see it tomorrow!
