When I listen to you, and watch what you're doing, my mind starts sparking with ideas. Oddly, perhaps, these ideas seem to have little connection to either what you are doing or saying. For example, I had the idea to create a work where the red of the lips and detail of the eyes are flat black, but the adjoining areas are vividly colored and toned to accentuate the forms. This to form tension and curiosity. I have no idea if it would work. It doesn't matter... you inspire me. Thank you

Such great work 👍👍👍 Can I ask you 2 question... 1. I met an artist recent who uses size to price his paintings, ie: 8" x 10" = 80, therefore $80. I understand that no 2 artists are the same and no 2 paintings are the same, but would you consider this to be a good rule of thumb? 2. How long does it take you to do an average painting? Thank you in advance 👍

Thank you for the great videos, they are really great at showing and explaining your process. I would love to see how you work with the reference. Do you use printed photos or computer, and do you digitally alter the reference before you paint it? Would be amazing to see your workflow on this, and how you match and mix your colors to the reference ! Thx!
