thanks for the video Dirk , I assume from your videos that the current fashion in Europe is for dark and smokey white stains ? I am trying to find stains and wax for very light coloured figured fiddleback timber furniture that i want to create an amber - gold colour tone finish with however there are very few videos on that because europeans did the amber - yellow colours in the 1990's - 2010 ? :)

Just used a roller to apply the clear oil (as this video shows) and it had terrible results, with over-application and lots of tiny air bubbles. Other videos show that you should apply small quantities and buff in, similar to the stain. So I don’t know why Osmo are advising using a roller. Ruined my project.

Nice video! Do you only need to apply one layer of polyx oil when you use a roller on furniture?

Hi Vannick, Thanks for the Feedback. We always recomment to apply two coats on wooden Surfaces. You can apply two coats of Polyx-Oil. Second option is to apply one coat with one of our coloured products and the second coat is Polyx-Oil to protect the surface. Best regards
