I remember my grandmother had one of these. It wasn't so brightly painted, it was more a raw finish, but more or less similar in design and function. Now I finally know how they're made.

I just came to look for this video because I bought an umbrella like this at the goodwill for 4$ I thought it was pretty cool but didn’t know much about it I had never seen one like this. But watching this video I’m like wow it’s a lot of work to do one by hand. Also wanted to ask if anyone knows how to know if it’s hand made or factory made? To be honest I can’t tell all I know is that the string is very thing and looks cheapy.
