I have heard comments on these videos from drummers watching Rob throughout this concert, and they mention how almost IMPOSSIBLE it is to actually SING while drumming like he does! It's something that you don't think about watching him because, as you said, he makes it all look so easy. So he is one of the most energetic and ON FIRE drummers of all time, AND he can sing while doing it! And not just background singing here and there. Straight out lead singing at times... Right up there in the mix. How in the world he doesn't sound completely out of breath while he is singing is just Unnatural. He must have the lung capacity of an Olympic Athlete. He is completely one of a kind. And all us Oils fans are mega blessed to be able to witness it. Saw them twice back in the 80s. Far and Away the best live shows I have ever seen.

I laughed my arse off at that. i got to see the oils live over 40 times and they and all the other Oz bands of that late 70's 80's era were awesome. More than anything we need the oils again. The greatest crime against humanity ever was the fans who voted for Garrett, because if they didn't the oils would still be rocking and he would still have dignity (something NO politician possesses). We need the oils back.

I remember winning tickets from uncle Doug Mulray triple M no fights just one of the best gigs i saw on goat island crowded house's farewell was brilliant but this had character plus dam great live .the Angles and oils were gigs u didn't forget miss those days

The Band The Music The Vocals Some knob event organiser please get these guys back into action before its too late for another shin dig….. The Oils are just so fucking good, take out the politics if you want, their live shows are awesome. PG has so much passion, and from speaking to friends in the music industry, Rob Hirst drumming is right up there with the best. Got tickets for the 2017 Adelaide show....bring it on !!!

Peter (Giffo) Gifford was by a long way the best bassplayer for this band.. They said they wanted a beast of a player to replace the first bassplayer they had. They got it. He locks in with RH perfectly. Driving 8th notes. They way rock should be !

Outstanding best mf band live band in the world and in from Australia fan since I was 10: years old and in my 40s now omg time goes fast . Great band live both and studio albums all awesome acto z . Peter Garrett and the band are very talented and underrated band acto z too. God bless midnight oil.
