Subliminal message for how the personification of inanimate objects bridges and assures a consumers reality with their desire, even if it is artificial? And perhaps he was the salesman/adman, shoving the product down the consumers throat figuratively. (And literally)

I used to drive Lyft in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Once, I picked up a couple from Southern California. I asked them if there is any kind of music that they like to listen. They said that I may not have heard heard of them, but they wanted to hear from a group called Oingo Boingo. I said that I love that group! They loved that I knew them and would play them. I got a great tip.

Something is off about this audio. It's mixed way differently than the album both on CD and on the internet. The bass synth is a lot more crisp and refined in this video, whereas the official releases seem to drown it in the other sounds. Honestly, I like it. It makes the song a lot better. It became a bit unbearable to have in a playlist because of how bad the mix is on the official releases. Does anyone else notice that?
