So my issue is. The red light means charging. And green light means fully charged. That said, mines always green and does NOT charge my controllers.

It's worth noting that you can free up the usb ports by using a ac adapter. Also this will allow your fans to run when the ps5 is off so they can continue to cool your system right after you turn it off

Has anyone figured out how to charger your controllers? I just biught mine and it will not charge my controller. I noticed the dongle does not insert all the way into the usb-c port of the controller. I can plug it up to the usb-c or my Samsung phone charger and it charges the controller fine.

@@frogboyx1Gaming yep I followed the directions and still nothing. I also received a replacement cooling station and it does not charge my controller also. I noticed that the dongle does not insert / seat all the way into the controller.

@usalinhphung1229 the magnetic dongle should go in all the way to the rubber grommet mine worked perfectly.

@@frogboyx1Gaming for some reason the dongles do not insert into my controller fully. I purchased another controller which should come in today. I'll test out the dongles on the new controller and hopefully it works. If so then that would mean there is an issue with the my current controller which came with the PS5.
