I was in Ukrainian recon squad in 2015, most of time we spent deep far from line in the enemies occupation fields deep in Donetsk region near Mariupol. I have friends from Азов, ДПСУ and 36th Marine Brigade. I saw full-scale invasion in Kharkiv while working on ambulance. I spent my vacation on rotation of Hospitaliers in Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. One of my pals died on Azovstal on 5th of April 2022, few friends came after Bakhmut to refill their squads and take a few weeks of rest. I wish I can come back to army to save my country when my residentship of ambulance doctor is over. I'm half Jewish, half Armenian, but inside I'm Ukrainian. The victory will ours, I'd rather die if it will not. God bless Ukraine.

Oh that’s if you listen to Nazi approved media. It was in fact a smaller force of Russians assaulted a Nazi strong mhold, cleared it within 10 days of open fighting and then bezeigend the remainder for 44 days while the Nazis hid behind the very own wives and kids. Oh, and the Nazis took full losses as everyone was either captured or killed, while the Russians only took 15% losses.

But considering that they held for 80+ days in a city of ruins while being outgunned and outnumbered and surrounded by all sides,really does show their patriotism,courage and strong will. If the President of Ukraine had not ordered Azov to surrendered,they would have probably went down along with the ship, brutally fighting. Commendable,yes. Azovstal was literally the Reichstag during 1945. Thank God Zelensky told them to surrender,who knows what the russians would have done to the remaining civilians caught in the crossfire But of course,the Azov Regiment was not the only one that held Mariupol, credit goes towards all the other unamed and glorious Marines and Volunteers that fought for as long as they could. Whatever may happen to the defenders of Mariupol that were captured. May God keep watch over them. Slava.

He gave them honours,medals and in 2014 ranked them up from a paramilitary to a full fledged regiment which started the whole fiasco about uKrAinE BeiNg NAzi Zelensky doesn't care if they are neo Nazis or no,they are patriotic and willing to fight to the end. That's what matters in the end. And even more so,Azov doesn't exactly care that much for Zelensky but they do have some respect for him

For example, if the german army nowadays was patriotic or nationalistic like the Azov and wore nazi memorabilia on their uniforms there would be a huge worldwide scandal and the media would be covering every inch of it. This is a case of "nazis are bad on certain occasions" or "it's ok when nazis fight on out side". Also giving them bigger ranks because they systematically killed and burned ethnic russians in eastern Ukraine, ethnic bulgarians in and around Odessa and ethnic poles in the western part of the country in the former polish towns in the last 8 years speaks volumes on what kind of a person Zelensky and the ukrainian government are
