Why would he choose to be cross examined? So that this horrible prosecution team can question him about arguments and fights that all people in marriages go through? So they can paint him out to be this obsessed ex? OJ is smart and his defense team did one hell of a job pointing out the sloppy work in this case.

In an interview that is on KZbin...He explains why his Lawyers refused him to take the stand,ALTHOUGH he dearly wanted too. They said "The trial has gone on too long,and there is no telling how long you will be on that stand,and we might lose the Jury and there will be a miss trial"...At that point all he thought about were his kids...He has not seen them for over a year,and was told that another trial make take 1,2,3 or 4 years to prepare...So in essence...He would not see his kids for that amount of time as well. What would you do as a Parent if you were in that situation?

They did not consider the evidence I don't even think they were really listening to the evidence while it was being presented in the courtroom, they didn't look at those photos of that lady's face all bruised and battered! Most of the jurors saw a black man on trial and they thought, because the defense planted it in their heads, that he was framed for a crime that he didn't commit which was all bullshit! All I know is this: The O.J. Simpson trial was a really crazy thing to happen in a really crazy time.... Rodney King, Jeffery Dahmer, Oklahoma City etc. our country ramped up in a way that none of us were prepared for and it's just gotten worse and worse. I believe all of us need to go back around this time and reassert a new look to give us a new perspective of what's happening now! I believe "and always have" that there are aspects we all missed about this time. Nothing was the same after this and a few other bizarre/crazy events in the first half of the 90's! The first World Trade Center bombing, The L.A. Riots, Ruby Ridge, Waco serious things this country hadn't seen in such a quick precession at least before or at least that's my opinion and my feelings about this.

Imagine if Marcia "Karen" Clark and Chris Darden had to try cases like this every week in front of defendants who could afford more than court-appointed public defenders standing at their side instead of F Lee Bailey and Johnnie Cochran and Robert Shapiro. She and Chris would bumble through cases just like they did this one, angrily lashing out at the judge, the defendant, and the defendant's counsel. Racist cops would undermine their cases way more often. I'm glad this was televised so that America could see just how hard it is for a person of color to get a fair trial in America. Can you imagine trying to fight the machine that the state can afford to put together with nothing more than a fresh-out-of-school public defender? Remember: most of these cases don't even make it to trial, because underfunded and overmatched public defenders talk their clients into plea bargaining to a lesser charge every day in the US, and for good reason. If they go to court, the state has millions of dollars of resources and fancy crime labs and experts to parade in front of a jury, and the public defenders have nothing. This is just one more way that the government screws people who have no financial means in our country. Do you think that it is a coincidence? If they can keep you broke and just one foot away from incarceration, they can certainly keep you in line.
@kennethcharles1386
@kennethcharles1386 2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct: But the problem is the redefinition of racial epithets that came from this trial. Now liberals feel comfortable, because they can say N - word instead of the racial epithets that their ancestors created to continue to be used by main stream America even adding millions to a hip hop culture that's making millions by using the so called negros to disgrace his own heritage and get rich doing it. Who would have thought that the outcome would have been to make it easier for caucasian to say N- word rather then it's hostile meaning to describe Black African Americans and Native born Africans. Had OJ not has money to defend himself, they would have convicted him on a dog braking from a neighbor 60 yards away that he heard a dog barking around 10:15pm. That's something to think about.!!!

I don’t believe OJ did the killing, I believe his son Jason did it & Jason called OJ who came to the scene & then realizing he had to cover up for Jason. I could never understand how OJ who supposedly had cut his finger during the struggle but there was no corresponding cut in the leather glove. Even if one glove came off & that’s how his finger was cut while exposed I doubt OJ would have forgotten to leave w/out a knit cap (verified picture of Jason Simpson wearing before the murders) & one a glove he knew had come off. I think he came upon the scene & only realized upon getting there what happened & just happened to have the gloves in his Bronco. Also Jason Simpson had a pair of those same gloves given to him by Nicole as a present the same time she gave OJ his pair as a gift. Jason also had proven anger/assault issues w/his girlfriend as well and the fact he was a trained chef and Nicole cancelled last minute going to the restaurant he was working as the head chef that night. It makes a lot of sense. How would you be if you were humiliated in front of your work colleagues and boss by having your family bail on you. Either way OJ did it or he knows and is covering for someone who did and I doubt he’d ruin his life/career to cover for anyone other than a family member like his kid.

@ the dragon killer. I thought oh was guilty for 25 years. I followed the trial but mainly sensationalized talking heads on tv. What you hear is what you believe as it was difficult to independently look at the evidence at the time. It’s similar to the 4 years of media with the false narrative about trump Russia collusion. When you hear about it day in all day for 4 years. Then they make a small apology that they were wrong. People still believe there was substance to that story. People believe whatever the media is telling them. Or just have massive bias and do not care about the facts.

If the two former organized crime witnesses were referred to by the last name that they were known to have used while they were in the Mafia turning off the cameras wasn't going to protect them. In addition this was another attempt by the defense to draw attention away from OJs' history as physically abusive to Nicole, his history of stalking Nicole and his derogatory remarks of her appearance and manner of dress. The Defense did everything they could to draw attention away from the facts of OHs behavior as previously stated.

Are they both parents of the year probably not, but cared enough to be there for their kids, go to their kids events, obviously being upset over a parent performing a sexual act I'd be pissed too I'd lay into my ex and take the kids out of that environment, home alone with kids at the other parents or grandparents then do it wherever you want.

These remarks about Nicole are so sexist - it's almost as if people are saying she deserved every awful that happened to her. OJ wasn't above beating the shit out of her - the mother of his children - while said children were in the same house. The guy she gave a blow job to wasn't some random pick up, he was a long term boyfriend. His name was Keith. It was about 1AM. Her children were asleep upstairs. The only reason anyone knows about it is because OJ was literally stalking her, peering through the window like a Peeping Tom. He was the one who screwed countless other women and did drugs, not her.

@@densel.crocker1782 No. They repeatedly said they ONLY went to OJ's to notify him of his EX-WIFE'S death and to set up arrangements to get his kids. But to answer your question. Why in the world would they assume O.J. was dead? And if O.J was dead.... WHY THE HELL would 4 detectives leave an "un-investigated" crime scene....just to go to another "un-investigated" crime scene? They went there because they thought they were going to catch OJ trying to get rid of evidence. They lied about WHY they went there, they lied about his Bronco parked "Hastily" when it was parked normal, they lied about why they went over the fence..... THEIR WHOLE STORY MAKES "0" SENSE. In the early hours of the murder investigation they were 10X more concerned about getting ahold of OJ, than the 2 dead corpse's laying back at the bungalow

All that domestic violence does not necessarily mean murder. This case is almost impossible to reenact based on the evidence presented in court. Two detectives lied on the witness stand and one pleaded the fifth amendment. The inmates will know and they would have beaten or killed OJ. The Goldman's are not really telling the truth, because all they want is something official that links OJ. Nobody can bring Ron Goldman back regardless of who did it. Also, why would OJ be dumb enough to drop a bloody glove at his own house and the crime scene -both? Plus, a scull cap? And then use his own car and leave blood all over it. That is just plain sloppy. There is no way he would do that. The glass was broken in Chicago. And how is there blood droppings all the way up the driveway and into the house? Where was the blood dropping from if he cut his finger in Chicago? There’s just too many questions to convict him.
