Ken, I _love_ the photomontage that opens this video! There is such a depth of information and visual delight there that I wound up stepping through the images one at a time. 🔥 P.S. Music is also a deliberate part of my mental, emotional, and spiritual health regimen. I applaud you for picking up on and verbalizing that reality!

Bill at GPA is a national treasure and is one the most gracious people I’ve ever had the privilege and pleasure of knowing. He’s is very willing to share his vast knowledge and experience with those who seek truth.

If I could choose my neighbors in life I will like to live next to Devon. As silly as that might sound. Thank you for this this GREAT two part series.

Really enjoyed this. The picture of Tim Gurney was in fact the late Tim dpv of EAR

I really love what Devon is doing and has an incredible collection of equipment. Those 15 cell horns though are designed for very large spaces, surely you would be better with even some Altec 803B's, so to not lose so much of the signal vertically. And they still might be overkill unless the room is quite large.

Thanks again Ken for a thoroughly enjoyable part ll. You and Devon are both welcome to hangout and listen to my system if your ever in Sydney Australia. The Fostex 30.1’s are reminiscent of an old friends 21inch Hartley’s in the seventies which you felt and didn’t hear. My shrine is a recently completed Goldring Lenco GL75 with a dual platter, Syrinx PU3 tonearm with Nakamichi MC1000 reference pickup that was custom modified for me by the Garrett brothers when they where alive.

OOh, you got some holy grail gear in your set up. I'm Sydney based too. Always nice to hear that there are others around.

Really really a very opposite vision about what audiophile is about, or can be. More DJ related, like John Devore also wanted to test his speakers with a dj setup with dual turntables. I just wonder when was this recorded, I guess pre- december, if V.A. was still here. This is great content, much more refreshing than the old brands. Speakers look a bit like in Bambino Paris.

Very cool. One of the most interesting interviews you have done, I think. Did I miss the talk about the step up transformers? Will there be a part three?

We didn’t discuss step up transformers even though he does make one. No part three sorry

Interesting, but the introductory music is drowned in wow and flutter
I would say listening to a system in a non-analytical way is helped or made difficult by the system itself as well. Some systems essentially call the attention to our analytical mind whereas some relax us.

Tonearms are a rabbit hole. The best ones are poorly designed. There is absolutely no predictability when designing a tonearm other than "the havier the better". Good luck.
