I have a ghost story. Well it's actually my mom's story. But She my mom was in her 20's, she would go to work, and would sometimes go through a cemetery and look at and old soildgers grave. One day when she was walking to work she saw and old man walking in her direction. She waved, and the old an tipped his military hat to her. After they crossed paths, she realised that he looked like the man from the grave, and turned around. No one was there. She was In a parking lot so she ducked down to look under the cars. No feet. Nobody. So she assumes that she saw the ghost of the man from the cemetery. Edit: OMG TYSM for the likes! And I didn't think so many people would like this story!

I have a story. When I was little I was in the Caribbean staying at a relatives house. We were all downstairs sleeping. I woke up randomly one night and I heard footsteps outside. It sounded like someone walking in heels. Eventually it stopped. After I returned back home from the Caribbean I would hear the same footsteps some nights. Years later I still continued to hear it, usually when it was raining. One day when I was coming home from school and when I reached my block I heard the footsteps walking behind me. When I got to my doorstep I still heard the footsteps. I immediately turned around and there was no one. Ever since then I have not heard the footsteps.

These stories reminds me of a nightmare that I had, which was basically a time loop. I kept waking up at the middle of the night for some reason, I would wake up, go down stairs, check the time, see that it's still night, I go back up stairs then go back to my room to sleep. It keeps repeating over and over, I was slowly freaking out and calling out to my family but no one came, I heard no one else except for my plead and cries, I didn't even go down stairs anymore because I knew but it still kept on happening. Luckily, it somehow stopped and I woke up in the morning, I don't know what happened that night but.. it was too realistic

when I was around 5 or 6 I always loved jumping down the last few steps on a staircase. One night I woke up to get water and I jumped down the last couple of steps. The problem was, there were too many steps left. Then I saw this glowing ghost-angel thing and I floated to the ground. Then I ran as fast as I could up the stairs to my room because that scared the crap out of me. If I didn't float down that night I probably would've gotten severely hurt and my parents would be too far away to hear me if I cried.

this is my dad’s unexplained creepy story. when he was around 16, he and his friends decided to visit some old cemetery at night and check out the graves. it was relatively old, so most of the gravestones were covered in dirt and grime, making it hard to read them. as my dad slowly wiped away the dirt on an especially creepy looking one, he felt a chill come over him. everything seemed far away and cold, and he zoned out with his hand resting on the old gravestone. he felt a shake and snapped back to reality to find his friends crowded around him. they asked why he had been sitting there for 5 minutes and not answering them when they called his name. he explained what he felt and they all stared at each other before heading out as fast as they could. he and his friends still don’t know what happened that day, but there was definitely something paranormal going on.

*Story Telling Time* * I'm not sure if this is scary or not* This was when I was really young, like maybe when I was 8. My parents and I got home super late, around 1 am. My parents were trying to open the door, there were no street lights or anything so it was kinda hard trying to find stuff. I was the last one to get off the car, and ofc cuz I was sleeping it was literally 1 am. And there's this garden area beside the front porch. I remembered seeing this old woman, slouching by the garden(she was wearing a white top and long brown skirt), then I just said, "What are you doing Grandma?"...like who tf would be doing something by the garden at 1 am. Now keep in mind my grandma died years before I was born, I only saw her picture once or twice. There was no one living with us. My mom asked who I was talking to...I said this old pale lady. I pointed at the spot I saw her, and she went poof, gone. (I could've been hallucinating, I just woke up, it was dark, it was late, and I was still really young) a few seconds later... My mom's still looking in her purse trying to find the key to the house btw. As a reminder, no one lived with us, it was only me and my parents. The front door was locked, as it should be. My mom and dad heard this *click*, like a lock that's opened type of click. You know what I mean. They tried opening the door again and surprisingly it was open :] hehe end of story have a great day everyone :)

I’ve never really experienced any scary things, but every night, right before I drift off to sleep, which is usually at 1-2 am or so, I see a white light quickly move across the room. No wonder my guinea pig I’m my room always seems scared. I also keep hearing noises like breathing, footsteps, all that kinda stuff, in my house whenever I’m home alone. I’m now Paranoid whenever I stay home alone. Right now as I type, I’m home alone. I’ll update you if I see or hear anything.

two summers ago, I was invited to a sleepover at my friends house because she was leaving the state. it was around 5pm and we decided to play a game called sara sarita (about two sisters killed and haunting a forest.. you flip a quarter behind your head and ask questions) it’s now the next day and we decided to go back towards my house as we had planned to spend 2 days at her house. we go through the back because my mom didn’t want the front door open. as i was going up the stairs, i noticed a floating pebble (there is no way it was a spider web) and it threw itself in the other rocks. it’s still here to this day

I have a ghost story: I was 6 years old, and my great grandma had just died I love this woman and she said that when she died she said she would come back and tell me what death was like, she was superstitious and was very open but this is beside the point. She had this old chair at my grandads that we called “nanny Mary’s chair” and nobody ever would sit on it, well one day me my brother and my cousins were all starring at this chair and talking to “ourselves” and when my mom asked who we were talking to we all said at the exact time “nanny Mary” my mom was recording the entire time when we started talking to ourselves and when we went to other people they always just used to say that we had some issues but I don’t think it would be normal for all of us even my older brother (who was 13 at the time) to all of seen the exact same thing. I believe that my great nan may have actually came back for those five minutes just for us all!

Here's a true scary story :] My house lost power before so my parents had to go out to the store to get water and something for dinner. Me and my younger siblings decide to stay in the living room. I think I have some serious problems. Ever since quarantine started, I have been sleeping and daydreaming A LOT. I know, nothing serious right? but one day something happened, I had an online class and our teacher said that I and my friends can meet up together since it was our graduation day, I was like "time is so fast" and went to tell my mom about the news and she was happy to hear it. After that texted my friend about the meet up I said "hey what's up? arent you excited we're going to meet up in person!" she was like "huh? what are you talking about? it's still lockdown" I was confused and said, "oh teacher said we're allowed to meet each other because it's our graduation" she texted me back like 15 minutes later and said "huh? I don't know what you're talking about were still grade ___" I was confused and just went to sleep. When I finally woke up I told my mom about the meetup but she wasn't in her room, so I asked my grandpa where she is and he said she was at work. I said "huh she didn't tell me she has work today" my grandpa laughed and said "hahaha she told you earlier before you slept" and I was confused because she didn't tell me anything. I told my grandpa about what happened earlier right after before I slept after I told him that he was confused and told me all those stuff happened in a dream, at that point I don't really know if it was a dream because my teacher even told our parents about the meetup and everyone in my classmates are so prepared about it. The real problem is, I can't now tell it I'm daydreaming or not.

So my personal experience with a ghost went like this so ever since I was a kid I’ve been able to see the ghost of a little girl in my home.I named her sally,one time when I was in middle school I came home (my older brother was still living with us). And my oldest brother was in his room(my current room) and I went to mine(my youngest brothers current room) my dog was still allowed to stay inside the house at the time.so I walk in my room sit in my bed and start on a project I had due around 8:30ish my dog comes in my room and curls up next to me I pet him while doing my project.I got thirsty so I got up from my bed and went to the kitchen(I always close my door when leaving my room) my older brother calls me to his room to show me a meme I go over and I see my dog laying next to him and I look at him confused like when did buddy(my dog) get there he was like I’ve had him here with me here before you got home and he hasn’t left my side.I told him no I had him I was just petting him on my bed in my room before I came to get water so we both leave his room to go check mine out I see sally in the corner next to my closet and she disappears in front of our eyes and my(what I thought was)my dog isn’t inside my room we both looked at each other and he says I think you just petted a ghost Another story was the time I saw sally and she waved hi(the first time I saw her ) I was a little kid so I would usually wonder around the house when my mum would leave to go somewhere .I decided to shower in my mum’s restroom so I went into her room and the first thing I see is a little girl crouched down in the corner next to my mum’s closet and on the side of a window I said hey umm do i know you she then disappeared I start heading towards the restroom I open the door and there she is and waves hi and disappears the moment I blinked And my last story goes like this We have two restrooms our main guest restroom (you can lock it)and my mum’s restroom(you can’t lock it). I always use my mums restroom to shower but this time it was occupied so I had to shower in our main restroom .so I’m in the restroom (I lock the door) I’m trying to wash out the shampoo out of my hair And I felt a sudden cold chill once I finished with my hair I turn to look for the toothpaste to brush my teeth as I open the curtain the lights turn off and I feel a cold chill I freak out rush to get out the shower to the light switch I turn the lights on and I turn to the door to check if it’s locked and it is.I finish showering and ask everyone if anyone came inside the restroom while I was showering and everyone said no because the door was locked I asked if the lights went out and they said no nothing happened the lights were perfectly fine.till this day I don’t know what happened to the restroom light

For 1:00 I have a story similar to this (kind of I guess): I was out for the night staying out at a friends house for the first time since my cat died. That night, my baby carrier thing, randomly turned on and started playing(at least what my parents recall). And, it was in my room. Now, the room is where my cat spent the most(since we had 2 dogs and they’re not friends). You see what I’m going for? I, personally think that my cat missed me and wanted me to come back. But, it could be a simple coincidence.

I was sleeping one night and it at around 2 to 5 am I heard a huge lightning strike literally like it was right next to my house, It was so damn loud that it woke me up (I'm a heavy sleeper) I looked out the window and saw another lightning strike followed by a Orange-redish light coming from outside "huh, did the lightning strike a tree or smth?" and went back to sleep. I thought the lightning struck on something and started a fire. Nobody else heard or saw the lightning. I cannot explain the orange light either

One of my unexplainable stories is when I was about 9 I visited my family in Mexico and we had a sleepover with my cousin . My cousins parents and my parents decided to go to a party since it was common around there And keep in mind the house was like outside it only had rooms and it didn’t have a roof they were only of the rooms btw So us being kids to stay up all night the others were bout 10 and 14 Show meeting up to tonight we played games and then eventually everybody fell asleep but me and then at like 5 AM I was already really sleepy and I was sleeping beside the door and I heard the door open I thought it were my parents and I said hi but was too sleepy to see them directly When I woke up it turns out they decided to stay in my cousins house since it was closer and they were drunk I decided to stay quiet being a dumb 9 year old I still wonder to these days

Once when me and my friends were playing hide and seek, and i was the seeker, one of my friends hid inside a cupboard. But she didn't lock the door from outside of course. But when i started to look for them, i saw that the cupboard was locked from outside, so i thought I thought that there was no one inside. So some time had passed, and i had found everyone except the girl. I opened the cupboard and she was inside. I asked her who locked the door, and she said she doesn't know. We were actually alone in the house, and none of my other friends had done it. I still wonder to this day who locked the cupboard 💀 Sorry if this made no sense lmao I'm no good at explaining things

These are my unexplained stories. They aren’t exactly scary but they creep me out. *First one*: I’ll say that it was about 10pm, maybe later. I was watching a Netflix series and each episode was about 30 minutes long. During one of them, I decided to close my eyes. Not even 10 minutes later, I woke up and it was 5 am. *Next story*:When I was younger, I had a hard time falling asleep alone. I would tend to stay up late trying to fall asleep. Well, one night, I was sleeping and I swear that something pushed me awake. I looked at the clock and it was about 3am. I turned my head to see my doll, just sitting there. I laid back down and woke up 10 minutes later to see that same doll now in a different position. (It’s head was facing left but now it was facing right). This continued to happen until I just stopped looking up. I eventually fell asleep but I still do not know what really happened that night. *Second to last story*: This story was recent. It was last Saturday and I was calling my friends. At 3:30pm I hung up with one of the girls I was calling. I decided to head into my parents room. I fell asleep right then and there. I just passed out on the bed. I then slept for 4 hours. I woke up at 7pm and thought it was 7am on Sunday morning. I started getting dressed for my events too. I thought it was so weird but you know. *Last story*: So this happened a while back. I was about 6/7 years old and I was heading to dance. I was wearing a black t-shirt and a white under top along with pants and a jacket. I fell asleep during the car ride. Keep in mind that I was in a car seat. So basically, when I get to dance, I unzipped my jacket and the black shirt was gone. It completely disappeared. I was confused because I was in such a tight space of room that nobody could’ve taken it off of me without waking me. I’m still so confused of what happened that day. I never saw that shirt again. Ok I have a ghost story, I was like 5 or 6 years old and it was the middle of the night. I was thirsty so I screamed “MOM I WANT WATER” but instead I screamed “TICKLE MONSTER” idk why I just did. I have so many storys.... When i was little i would here a older woman talking to me and mistake her for my mom when i was alone. My mom would usually be downstairs cooking or cleaning while i played. I always responded to the voice, because i thought it was my mom...but it never was, she sweared she didnt say nor play any tv, shows, etc. I hear footsteps when im alone *not my story, my moms* My mom was asleep one night, and it was about 1-2am. She woke up and saw a red figure that glowed and was flowy by her door. She didn't know what it was. After watching it for a little, it disappeared. My sister and i were making cookies, and ofc our parents recorded us. My mom played back the recording to edit it, and a womans voice, with a Hungarian accent spoke “ he’s still with you” im pretty sure. (My brother passed away years ago) And i have more storys lol

Once when I was around 12 years old, I was practising the harmonica in my room, then I took a quick break. Then I heard my dad’s voice calling at me saying something along the lines of “oh, you’re finally giving us some peace”. I didn’t respond to that, so then his voice kept trying to provoke a response out of me, until I finally snapped and shut away my harmonica, frustrated at the fact I felt like I could never play any kind of musical instrument. Then when supper-time came, my parents had no clue why I seemed upset at them; apparently they hadn’t even heard me playing the harmonica

So I have a wind up thing that when you wind the bottom of this little piano it starts playing music while the ballerina dances on top. I was sitting in my room. Alone. Door closed. No one in there except me...except that's *what I thought* at that moment, the thing starts to play music, headphones falling of my sisters nightstand (we share a room). All while I was on my bed. In the middle of the day. I was so scared, I didn't even scream. I called my cousin then texted my mom to come upstairs. :)

I had a creepy story too, this happened to me few months ago, I live in this house with few friends of mine but for few months I was there alone cause I worked while they were off school. Because I was alone I got used to sleep on the couch so that I can have the tv on since I was a scardy cat and needed to feel like I wasn't alone. After spending few weeks alone I kind of figured nothing would happen and started to close the TV when I go to sleep keeping only a little light by the door just in case. that night I went to sleep early and I woke up few hours later around one to two in the morning, I was half asleep when I turned to face the hallway only for my heart to stop. The door to my roomate's room was wide open even though I never opened it since they went home and in the middle of the hallway stood a young woman with long black hair and white dress, she was looking right at me. Well I'm the kind of person who when put in stressful or bad situations wouln't know what to do and freeze on the spot so I only laid there staring back at her, after few seconds she smiled and moved closer and I only followed her with my eyes until she sat on the side of the sofa above my head and started stroking my hair. I was totally frozen and couldn't move anything except of my head as I stared at her then she talked saying that I don't need to worry. Somehow I went back to sleep and only woke up to nothing in the morning, I like to believe that was a dream but it felt so real that I can still feel her hand stroking my hair.

Not my story but my moms friend. So when my mom was in highschool she was in the "Singles for Christ" club. The club was basically where single Catholics meet up and pray. So my mom had a friend who was very religious and they went to pray at my moms house. Her friend said that sometimes when she was really deep into prayer she would see the devil's figure in front of her. This was really creepy but my mom said that she doesnt know if she was lying or not becuase that was a really strange sighting. She also said that sometimes her friends who were also in the club was speaking different languages that they dont know at all. I think this was there spiritual gifts like tounges, or seeing something paranormal. The different languages one was real but idk about seeing the devil.

My mom only had one tent, which only had room for her, so we had to stay in the back of the car on air mattresses. Around 3-4AM (yes, we stayed up that long), we were both looking out of the window on her side, and I saw something. It was pure white, and had a round head with a black stripe going down the middle. It had a stick-thin body, one that wouldn't be humanly possible. It also had hands that looked like mittens. It peered into the window for a second, then left, as soon as it came. I thought I was hallucinating out of delirium, and told my best friend I saw something but it was probably just my imagination. She looked at me with wide eyes, and asked me, 'you saw that too!?'. I asked her to describe what it looked like to make sure she wasn't just trying to scare me, and her description matched up with mine. Safe to say, whatever sleep we would've gotten, we didn't get any after that. 2: When moving into my current house, I went with my mom to tour the house and see what it looked like. When I went into one of the upstairs bedrooms, I immediately got weird vibes from it. Later, we learned that the former wife of the person who owned the house had committed suicide in that room. 3: I think this was my 9th or 10th birthday party. My friend was having a sleepover, and we were watching a movie in the middle of the night. All of a sudden, I heard this weird whispering coming from the kitchen. I turned to my friend and asked if she heard anything, and she said she heard whispering. We decided to check, since we thought it might've been my mom getting a midnight snack or something. We went out to the living room, and no one was out there. All the lights were off, too, and everything was untouched. We also checked my mom's room and she was fast asleep. I had also always heard whispers in that house, so it was bizarre. 4: I had kind of like a 'ghost older brother' I guess. Ofc he wasn't my biological older brother, but he sort of adopted me as a younger sister ig. It all started when I went to a really haunted hotel when I was about 10, without even knowing it was haunted. I only found that out bc my mom had googled it while we were staying there, and apparently it was the 4th most haunted hotel in that city. Anyways, as we were leaving, I heard a small voice in my head asking, "can I come home with you?" as we were leaving, and I was just like 'sure lol'. I got pretty lucky, as some spirits trying to invite themselves in to your home can be harmful, but this spirit wasn't. I would constantly feel his presence around me. It wasn't a creepy one, more like a comforting/older sibling type vibe. I remember one time I got really upset about something and started crying, and I saw this golden/shimmering outline of a person walk into my room, and this overwhelmingly comforting presence that immediately calmed me down. Also, apparently when we were in that hotel, my mom woke up in the middle of the night and heard a bunch of whispers all saying the word '(my name) is cherished'. So, thanks for cherishing me, older brother ghost. That hotel was also the site of the executions of soldiers before it was turned into a hotel, so that makes me 99.9% sure he was the ghost of a soldier that was executed. 5: My mom was driving on a mountain with me (I'm not old enough to drive yet), and we came across this weird abandoned public bathroom?? Ofc I found it funny since I have a pretty immature sense of humor, so we decided to stop inside and see whether it was haunted or not. I had my spirit box with me since we were on a 'vacation' type thing where we were looking for haunted sites, and immediately, the words 'where am I?' came through. As we were leaving, I heard the sound of footsteps walking away, even though both my mom and I were getting in the car, but I didn't see anyone. Later we learned that the bathroom had been abandoned bc two little girls had been murdered there. 6: This took place on the same trip! There's a phenomenon about 3 hours north of where I live, known as the Brown Mountain Lights. They're unexplained lights at the top of the ridge of Brown Mountain, which even have yet to be explained by scientists, as there are no roads up there so it can't be car lights, no houses so it can't be house lights, and no swamps so it can't be simple swamp gas. Well, we ended up seeing them. Apparently they're extremely rare to see nowadays, and it was a pretty cool experience, so I count myself lucky :) I have more than that, but those are just the ones I think of off the top of my head!
