But I do have a lot of good friends and a few best friends though but I also have a couple toxic “friends” the thing is that one gets in a mood with only me for no reason most of the time but then she’s all smiley and happy around our other friends but then some days we’re friends again but then some other days she’s in a mood with only me again (she’s a school friend) all my friends and best friends out of school are my true friends and good friends (but some of my friends inside of school are good but a couple are toxic. I think friends outside of school are more of good friends than some in spice of school

I was friends with this girl, I knew her since kindergarten. We were friends for a while, til last year, she replaced me with another girl, only invited me to join them if I paid, or did something for them, she basically used me. I left that group by the help of friends, I was to scared to tell them that I didn’t like how they treated me til my new best friends helped me go through it, I spilled it everything to them. They are literally the best friends I can ask for!

This is too true :( During quarantine I didn’t talk to anyone but my family (even then I didn’t talk with them very much) and my “friends tried to blame me for not talking to them even though they were the ones hanging out during quarantine *without me* and they tried to turn it around on me. Sadly like I always do I apologized and now i’m being dragged along by their side. I’m sorry that this got really deep but honestly I think a lot of people are experiencing this. Same, I had two fake friends. Story 1: One of them was in kindergarten, and we were best friends. Me, him and my _real_ bff were like a trio. One day, I got light up Skechers that you could play Simon Says on. One day, I couldn't let him play on my shoes because they needed charging (yes, they charge.) He apparently told his mom. I was crying so bad when he came back the next day saying "My mom said I can't hangout with black people anymore." I have been in the same class with at least one of my four best friends since 3rd grade. In fourth grade, the "leader" of the group (the funniest, the nicest, etc.) was in a different class. Everyone included her, met up with her in between classes, at recess and lunch and so on. Now, I'm the only one in a different class. My class has no one I've ever been close to, and the boys give us tons of lectures for misbehaving. But the problem is none of them include me. When we go out to recess (the only time of day I get to see them in an 8 hour school day, due to covid) they don't include me in their conversations, their game, whatever. Like, a few weeks ago they came out talking about what pet they would want for Christmas. I mentioned that I would want a rabbit. I am not lying, one of the girls said out loud, "Ew, rabbits are disgusting who would want a rabbit.." and they all laughed and continued on. I felt absolutely rejected and kicked out of the conversation, and spent the afternoon pretty upset (that wasn't the only incident that happened during that recess). So, in conclusion, they don't make an effort, at all, to include me. I've never experienced this and I'm open to tips, but being in that class has shown me that best friends forever, likely isn't forever.

A lot of my friends do this to me and each other. And I don’t understand it! Like unless I’m gonna be late for something, I’m not leaving. And it really confuses me when my friends don’t wait they just leave. I know they’re nice people they aren’t toxic at all! (Except maybe like one or two who I’m not close with anyways) so I’ve always thought that it was my fear of being alone. I can’t be alone in large crowds (Like school) because I’ll have a mini panic attack and I think that everyone is staring at me and judging me. So I wait for my friends and if they leave me behind I RUN to catch up. (I have to run because my legs are really short. I have a friend who is shorter than I am but her legs are still longer than mine.) Do you have the same problem or is that just me? Edit: not the short leg thing but the fear of being alone thing. As someone in a friend group who had a person who was outcasted, in our case we don't actually intend to hurt them but it's very difficult to hang out with someone who obviously doesn't belong in the group for dif. reasons, but at the same time we don't have the courage to tell them that this is the situation especially when we know they won't take it well. This isn't to justify this kind of behavior, I know that it's wrong and cruel but just a more in-depth explanantion on why something like this happens.

My worst school experience was when I was in second grade. This girl in my class hated me for literally no reason at all and was pretty popular in my school so she turned everyone against me literally my own friends too and they believed her and my whole class didn't talk to me for a whole year. I still remember how I used to sit on my seat alone and no one would even sit infront,beside or behind me. They would all look at me like I was disgusting and they would whisper in each other's ears about how i was pathetic and that they all hated me, they verbally bullied me. Worst part of it all, my friends turned against me and I cried EVERY SINGLE DAY and they laughed at my face. So thankful I left that school. Its been years since that happened but it still hurts like hell.

It's always hard form me to tell whether my friends are fake or not, cause growing up, since I'm the "annoying kid" at school, I once overheard my teacher telling all of my classmates to try and "help" me. Edit: just to clarify, I overheard this when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, I'm in Highschool and overhearing this just makes me feel doubtful sometimes about my choice of friends

I remember in 5th grade I was at the book fair, and I was getting something and this girl said it was her birthday and asked if I could buy her something. Well I didn't have any friends in 5th grade but I thought she was a friend since she was the only one who talked to me. So, I bought her something. And I heard her talking with her friend's saying I was naive and dumb and it wasn't actually her birthday.

Shameful how she used you just to talk nonsense, I can already tell she's the type to impress people a lot by making fun of others. I think I'm more of a fake friend now lol. My high school gave us the option to either do online school or in person and because of my classes I had to take in person (which I consistently complain about). I basically had the same people in most of my core classes, and this one girl that I used to be friends with way back in middle school is in like 4 of my classes and my lunch and we ended up rekindling our friendship. I don't particularly like her (she doesn't believe in masks, thinks covid is fake, most likely homophobic, can't take a joke, and much more) and only talk to her in school or respond when she contacts me. I wish my other friends would come to school but they like staying at home lmao

I have been a mentor and a life coach for 20 years and I'm a really good judge of character, but I have trusted people who have taken my trust for granted.... that doesn't mean I'm bad at picking friends! So no, your answer was the furthest thing from easy that I can fathom!! While I appreciate your tips, I think you're missing the point LOL The point I was trying to make is... being wronged can come in many many forms, And every time somebody does you wrong, it's not necessarily a betrayal, so consult a dictionary! Good people are few and far between in today's society! Trust me I know. I've seen people from the nicest backgrounds and the most blessed circumstances do extremely disrespectful and foul shit to others, so there's no way to tell when somebody's going to wrong you or betray you...

Then one day her friends were talking with another girl about their crushes, and my friend, Brie, said her crush was this new kid who had just moved into the city. the ghosting one send too deep bc that’s what happened to me with my ‚friends‘ as well, but I was so scared of being alone I desperately still clung to them this continued for months.. no I didn’t enjoy being air, but I lost 2 friend groups in the years before so i was desperate enough to be someone’s air rather being jsut air alone Until one day I couldn’t take it anymore and just passed my breaks Locked in the toilets; until I graduated and moved i met real friends after that and found my true passions that defined me, so I could become ‚me‘ Long hurtful lonely Years but I was able to do it, so if you are going through something similar, I know it’s hard but you are you, you are perfect and don’t Need to change for someone else; just find yourself and accept yourself. Beign muslim in a Christian country is Hard. My elementary friend was using me all 6 years. Middle school friends dont feel like real friends. One time a girl from out group had her birthday and she invited only the 2 of them (we are group of 4) without me to hang out at her house. I kept asking questions like "What r u gonna do there?" And she kept telling me "were Just gonna hang out" i was waiting for the "wanna come to?" but i never got it. Then the next Day one of them told me what they did there while the others were listening and i was like "that sounds so fun i wish i was there but i wasnt invited, sadly" the girl stopped talking and ignored what i said. And the host of the hang out (wich was at her house) didnt say a Word.. Its Hard to drop then cuz i dont have other frnds. They r all fake
