When my brother was a newborn, he came down with something, and my mom was convinced something was seriously wrong. The doctors said she was being paranoid and prescribed some cold medicine for him to take. Mom insisted that they were wrong and demanded an x-ray. Turns out my brother had an "impressive" case of pneumonia in both lungs, and the cold medicine the doctors prescribed could have killed him had he taken it. (Side note: This was my mom's fifth child, so the whole idea of the doctors treating her like a clueless new mom jumping at shadows seems just plain patronizing.)

Something similar happened to me when I was a child. I went to see the doctor because I coughed so much and not a light one. He barely examined me and told me I had a little cold and give me basic medicine that you can have no prescription at a pharmacy. Turn out I had a really bad pneumonia and was coughing tons of blood the day after! Lucky me , my father had some prescribes medicines because he had had a pneumonia the year before and they where not expired. It knocked me out for a week or so , but since then , I’m skeptical about going to the doctor, unless I pay for a private one

One time I was camping and me and my older sister we’re playing hide and seek with my cousins and there was this big open field so my sister laid down in it and I told her to get up because I had a gut feeling that something wasn’t right it was hunting season at this point and we weren’t wearing the color if you’re out during hunting season. We were both wearing darker colors as soon as she stood up a shot was fired at her feet they thought she was an animal and then I screamed and said stop it’s a person and people started running up and me and my older sister were crying

Had a teacher who had a bad feeling about going to work, so she thought she was sick and skipped. Ends up her workplace had a bombing (it was a big city) and her workplace (a train station) was the place where the bomb had been. If she had gone to work that day she wouldn't be my teacher today.

I have a story One time when I was ten, I had my tonsils taken out and the surgery went fine. But a week later I just couldn’t fall asleep and plus I didn’t really want to. So at 1am I was actually watching your vids and then I couldn’t breathe without coughing, so I spit in my trash can next to me and then that’s when I screamed. At this point there was blood pouring out of my mouth and I was in my moms room within 2 seconds. Turns out there was a blood clot. The blood clot got there when apparently the surgeon laserd a blood vessel and it didn’t form until then. Anyway I had to have emergency surgery at 3 am ( because of waiting). I would have bled out and died in my sleep if I didn’t stay awake.

I had a gut feeling once I had a picture that I drew and I went to an art studio for a birthday party. Everyone was painting unicorns, but I didn’t want to so I recreated my drawing. I put it behind a friends easel and started but I had a feeling I should move it. 5 mins later my friend spills her water to clean her brush and water spills where my drawing was. If I didn’t move the picture, it would’ve gotten soaked.

I have a story lol, this happened last week too So I’m 13 so I’m not really scared to walk in the dark. In England, in the winter, it gets dark really quickly so I stayed out with my friends until around six. I’m walking on the coast back to my house so it’s just a half an hour walk on a long path. I get a weird feeling so I go on a group call with the two friends I went out with. We keep talking and I realise my phone is on 2% but I’m still 10 minutes away from home. My friend gives me a hack where you turn off your phone and turn it back on again. Now I’m on 10%. I see this dodgy guy opposite me but i just ignore him. Then, I take a turn which is around 2 blocks from my neighbourhood. I see him turn around and start following me. Then, I say to the phone “yeah mum, I’m two minutes away” my friends completely understand what is going on so they don’t say anything. I see the guy slow down, I’m guessing he was a little worried. Then, literally two seconds later, my battery runs out. I start running through the alley way that leads right next to my house. It’s really echoey so I can hear his footsteps behind me. This alleyway is probably 30ft away from my house and I’m really short so I’m also really slow. He’s kinda catching up to me but I just get this rush and start running super fast. I get to my door, open it and get in. I looked through my kitchen window blinds and see him walking the other direction. Its terrifying when I think about it.

I have a Gut story, not really mine but it’s my moms. She was pregnant a few years ago with my little sister and she for the past few days she had a feeling that something was wrong with the baby as it wasn’t kicking. And one day she had woken up and starting panicking. She was telling my dad to take her to the hospital because her gut was telling her that some things was wrong with the baby. Turns out that the baby was being strangled by the umbilical cord and if we hadn’t noticed sooner the baby would have died. So my mom get sent in for an operation straight away and now her and the baby are born on the same day. The baby was born a month earlier.

Ok, this literally happened to me today but hear me out. So me and my friend were working on a project after in the science room. It has been already the time that I was suppose to leave which was at 5:10. So then I packed my stuff said goodbye and went out. I walked outside (keep in mind, it's already a bit dark out) I called my dad to pick me up which he said he'll be there in a bit. I walked across the street and just stood there. I got bored so then I tried to walk home (I have never walked home alone before). I went straight up and kept on walking until I turn a curve. Originally I pulled out my phone just to watch a video of the directions to my house. But I had a sudden sharp feeling that I should hold it close to my ear. So then I did. I turned the curve and kept walking with the phone to my ear even though I was calling no one. And that's when I heard a noise, I glanced at what caused it. And there I see a white car to my right, across from me. Slowly driving, and the fact that it was driving very slow and it was behind me. That's when that feeling instantly hit me. I pretend to talk to my dad and quickly turned around to my school. Which it wasn't far away, I then ran, and I swear my heart was beating so quickly. I ran and ran until I was across from the school. At that point, I gave up on walking, and just stayed close to the school until my dad comes. Let their be a lesson learn... DO NOT WALK ALONE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S DARK.

When i was little, i went with my father at around 8 pm to get medicines. I would always cling with my father wherever he went and that day our whole town had a power outage so there weren't any streetlights just lights of motorbikes and cars. We were on a motorbike and stopped because we reached the pharmacy store. Our bike was on the other side of the road and the store was on the other. My dad told me to wait and he'll get the medicines himself. I said ok and waited for him. There was this weird guy only a few inches away from me. I had this weird feeling about him and got a little scared and moved a bit away. He moved a little towards me. I got so scared and was ready to run but didn't. Fortunately, my father arrived and we got on the motorbike. I was sitting behind and this guy literally started walking towards us and making a hand gesture like how you pick someone up. He was so close and I started panicking. I told my father to hurry up and start the bike. He said wait, but I started screaming and he started the bike and we went. Idk if he was trying to kidnap me but you really have to believe in your gut feelings.

Here’s my mums gut feeling (kind of) story I was born (yay) with no permanent problems at all. When I was around 3 or 4 months old, I was sleeping in a cot next to my mum and dads bed. Suddenly, my mum woke up for no reason at all. No bad dream or anything, just suddenly. She saw that my arm was sticking out of the cot, so she went to hold my hand. I was ice cold. She sat up right, and studied the scene for a few seconds. She then quickly takes the blanket off me and feels me. I am ice cold all over, and barely breathing. She was so panicked because she thought that I had died in my sleep (too panicked to see that I was still breathing) and quickly stuffed me in her pyjamas to warm me up. I survived (obviously), but wouldn’t have if she hadn’t have woken up. We still don’t know what happened and how my mum suddenly woke up, but she believed that it was her guardian angel that is still with her today.

Just happened to me I was walk my dog. (An 80lbs German Sherpard trained to a high standard.) I was passing this house with a lot of Halloween decorations out. I know the person who lives there so its all normal stuff. Until my dog turns and growls at one of the decorations. At first I brushed it off as a decoration that would pop out at you or a cat in the window beside the decoration. Anyway I'm getting more and more uneasy. By the time I reach the next house i pull my phone out and call a friend to calm my nerves. By the time i reach the end of the street i realise it had to be a person. My dog is highly trained and doesn't even growl. She either pulls slightly to check it out or barks. I carry on with my route because theres no one behind me I blame it on being paranoid. A few minutes later I'm beside the same house but on the other side on a different street. I turn the corner while looking at the ground. I see a shadow moving towards me. I drop my phone and fling myself around. It was the shadow from a mailbox. I pick my phone up my heart beating out of my chest. And rush home. My dog tugs me a little back and I see shes dead focused on something. I cant see anything but I'm scared out of my mind. She starts barking. At his point i see a person run away from the house and the alarm goes off. Turns out he was trying to break in and probably would have been successful if he wasnt distracted by my dog barking.

I had a couple incidents of when I got an uneasy feeling. The most recent was about a month ago when I was driving my sister home from her exam, and I was on a roundabout. Normally, you should never stop or slow down (lest you cause an accident). But when I saw an eighteen wheeler approaching, I had a gut feeling. I took my foot off the gas and slowed down enough for the eighteen wheeler to get on and resume after it have passed. True, my mom gave me a lecture since the car behind me was driven by her co-worker and made me apologize to my sister for “almost endangering her”. But if I hadn’t slowed down, chances are that my sister and I would have collided into the eighteen wheeler. Even if you get in trouble for it, always trust your instincts; especially behind the wheel.

One time my sister, dad, and I think my uncle and I were swimming at a little ways behind my grandma's house. The area would always have very high and low tides. When the tides were low, the water would reveal big rocks to the left of the cove. When we were there, it was very high tide, and my uncle and I swam over to the rocks while my dad and my sis were in the canoe we brought. Later my sis and I were in the canoe while my dad and uncle were talking by the shore, and I was begging her to just get out on the rocks because that's where she originally wanted to go, but now she just wanted to ride around. We paddled around a little bit in a few circles around the cove until we eventually got back around to the rocks. We weren't too close when we suddenly heard hissing sounds and saw a snake head pop out of the water. I paddled faster than I had ever gone, and we got to the shore. (Where my dad and uncle were.) My dad went over and checked it out in a canoe. Turns out it was a water moccasin. For once I'm grateful my sis didn't listen to me. 😅

Hey set me down to rest, all of a sudden, my heart stopped. Nobody was there with me and I couldn’t cry or breath. But the dog ( Which is sharlet ) started barking, everybody came in the room to tell the dog to stop only to find my heart stopped. That dog *saved* my life.

I have a story: When I was 12 one night I went over to my neighbors for a sleep over. We had fun got milkshakes, pillowfights, ECT. Night comes, we sit on the air mattress. I suddenly feel somthing that cold boulder In my stomach. I get the creeps but ignore it. After 10 minutes, I cant take it and leave. Normally her parents are really mad when people leave sleepovers at night but they just said 'ok' I notice them lock all the doors and windows after I leave. I don't know what would have happened if I hadn't had that gut feeling, but I swear the next day I came over there were footprints in the backyard from boots. No one in there family had worn boots that night or the next day.

Once had a gut feeling. We were about 12 at the time. Me and my best friend were with some other close friends, suddenly had this feeling that something was up. I’m stood next to my other best friend, Abi. Abi has several mental issues, depression, anxiety, anger issues. All clinically proven. I’m next to Abi when she starts having a panic attack, eventually collapsing. I managed to catch her when she collapsed and rest her on her side. She passed out and lost memory of what happened. Que me suddenly screaming my head off to get somebody’s attention so I could send them for a nurse, as my other friend had already left for class. She was fine but very, very shaken. It’s a very regular thing now for her to say “I owe you my life” as I’ve also prevented her from bleeding out from when she cut her wrists and getting her help for all these issues.

I have a story. This happened when i was very little but my brother was seven and he was walking along our street that was short so he was safe and a woman pulls next to him and says she needs help. Remembering that everyone tells you that adults would not in their right mind ask a child for help he ran away and told my mom. They called the police and it turned out there was something wrong with her and she could’ve died so she was getting the most help she could get. If my brother had not told my mom or ran away that woman could’ve had something bad happen to her and she wouldn’t be able to get to the hospital in time.

I had an experience like this once. I was 13 at the time and walking my nans dog (she's a border collie and literally wouldn't hurt a fly but she's pretty big for her breed). We were in this grassy bit just off the road when this car drove past us pretty slow, I caught a glimpse of the driver and he was this big bald man. Poppy (the dog) was off the lead so I don't think he saw her. A few minutes later I saw the dude walking back up the road and he was just staring at me. I got scared so I knelt down and called Poppy over to me. He faltered slightly but carried on coming towards me. Poppy loves cats so when we tell her we saw a cat she starts barking and she sounds pretty ferocious. I did this as discreetly as I could and she started going mad barking and running around. The man stopped walking and watched her until she started running towards him (probably wanting to play) still barking. He turned around and ran the other way and I took Poppy home immediately. I think she probably saved my life and it's quite funny thinking about how she probably just wanted the man to throw her ball and he was absolutely terrified 🤣

One time I was at my friends house, enjoying myself and laughing and just having a good time. She had to go to a doctors appointment that was away in the city because she was developing a huge lump on her neck and it needed high treatment. Not knowing why I was allowed to go as it was a school night and I’d have to leave early without a choice, I ignored it and walked back home. I still had a good 30 minutes to do whatever I wanted to. I went for a walk but I noticed a man with clothes covering up his whole body, in a blue and red pattern. He was walking very slowly, like on the spot and I couldn’t see if he was walking backwards or towards. I took my camera to zoom in and he was looking right at me. Kind of scared, I took a few steps back to some land in front of my house knowing it was suspicious If he came uninvited on our land. I saw him drop some sort of weird box cutter thing (?) and pick it up and hide it behind his back. I got so scared and walked inside 30 minutes earlier than I was supposed to.

I have a story similar to the first one... it's pretty short though... My family, and friends from Wisconsin decided to plan a vacation to Yellowstone, Wyoming. Somewhere near the place we were camping there was a river. My parents allowed us to go into the water but I didn't go because the water was kind of murky and God knows what's in there. So instead of going in the water, I walked around looking for rocks to skip (rock skipping is rly fun just to let you know). When I came back to where my parents were talking, my older sister was wadding out of the water towards us with a big rock in her hand. She placed it down in front of us and said, "I found this worm on my foot," apparently there was this slimy worm-like thing on the rock. To me...that didn't look like a worm. I looked at my parents who were staring at the so-called "worm," and said, "that's a leech,"

With the little brother who wasnt breathing, something similar happened to my mom with my older brother She was sleeping when this voice woke her up it was a mans voice, it was stern and clear and said "get him now or he'll die" my mom emmidietly woke up and thought she was going crazy but eventually brought him to the hospital because she kept thinking about the voice and her gut felt all twisted When she arrived she was just confused and asked for a docter While she was a waiting, a male docter walks by her and all of a sudden stops, turns around, and asks "whats wrong with your baby?" my mom said she didnt know and before she knew it the docter got nurses and a bunch of staff and worked on him Turns out he had gotten sick and couldnt breathe because mucus was clogging his airways because my siblings were each getting sick and he caught it Had that voice not woken her up my brother would have died and he wouldnt be in the U.S Army today Thank God

Listening to these story’s rlly makes me want to have listened to my gut feeling about 3-4 months ago now, I mean it wasn’t as serious as all these it wasn’t life threatening but basically I was going to get my hair dyed blonde and when we were almost there I just had a strange gut feeling, anyway I said I wanted blonde instead they made it ginger. So hear me out Last year I was returning home back from my tuition with my mother. It was dark by then. I was walking ahead of her when I suddenly had a feeling that I should stop and wait for her. As soon as she reached me we just started to walk again when suddenly a coconut fell down from the tree in front of me. It fell down with such a great speed that it cracked into pieces. If I hadn't waited for my mother it might have hit me and I probably wouldn't have been here narrating this story. Thank god 🙏

as a young boy i had a unhealthy fascination with knifes an guns mom didn't like it but if i saw one(a knife never a gun she hates them)that was really nice an had vivid art on it she'd buy it 4me after other male family members told her it's not that bad of an idea/ big deal a few months later as im walking home a weirdo pulls over opening up his passenger side door & says come in your just what i like (it is 1992 im 12) i flip my knife open an say my knife likes you too! he peels off quickly as i laugh an older kid maybe 17/18 was like i was gonna help you little man but you got this and handled it very well he high fived me an kept going i didn't tell anybody but thanked & hugged my mom 4 buying the knife for me:)

This doesnt rlly count but it was a dream feeling So, I'm one those people who have dreams and sometimes they're what happens in the future. I remember that most of my dreams were... *Nightmares* But one time I had a dream about a kidnapping... It wasn't a kidnapping (At least that's what I was told) but, they told everyone that she went missing. Most dreams I have get forgotten and pop back in my head when it's happening. I didn't trust my instinct so when I remember that in my dream she was in a classroom I didn't tell anyone. Half an hour later, they found her. To this day I trust my "Dreamemories" (Dream-em-or-ies) Or guts. So far it's been working for me, buy it's still so scary to know what might happen...

My daughter had a time like this. She was at girls camp and had just put her stuff in her cabin, she went hiking alone. Her gut told her no, but she ignored it. She walked for a while and saw a flower and went uphill to pick it. She saw tracks but ignored them, when she got back down she had a feeling to look up. Right there was a moose! The moose was female and might have a baby somewhere. She froze, cause nobody had ever told her what to do when you see a moose, but she did know to never get between an animal and their baby. Her gut told her to walk slowly back to camp, telling herself not to run. Always listen to your gut.

We live in the south part of Queensland and we went up to cairns which is north of Queensland and if you don't know northern Queensland Expesially cairns has a lot of salt water crocs. We went to the beach where no one really goes and we were gonna go around the corner of a sand hill thingy and my mum decided that we wouldn't go and she made the guess that there would be a crocs nest around there. So instead we went to a small like rock pole that had really clear water and we ended up on the cairns newspaper because normally only locals went around this area. I went to bed one night and had a weird feeling. I ignored it and slept. Then at about 4am there was banging on the front door and me and my brother who had the downstairs room next to the front window go up. I ran to the door and unlocked it knowing the people ran off and my brother banged on his window to scare them off. The must have been watching to see what time my dad leaves for work and they must have thought my dad went to work. But he was sick so he stayed home. They put a 'X' on the side of the house. I emediatly ripped it off as they guys were stupid enough to write it in chalk.

Please help Kyutie to notice this gut feeling story! When I was in like third grade, my neighbor and I were playing in the snow in her front yard. It was like 7 P.M, so it was pitch black. We didn’t think much when a white car drove through the street. When it drove by us again we thought maybe they got lost. This street connected to like six others and was kinda confusing. They then drove past us again. I told her if we saw them one more time we worked go inside. This time they parked in front of her house, she told me not to look, but I did. I got a really good look at both their faces and the car. They quickly drove away, and I realized that the cat has no license plate. We ran inside and told her mom, she gave me a ride down the street to my house. My friend later told me the door was open a crack the second, third, and fourth time they drove by us. I don’t know what would have happened if i hadn’t looked, but I do know that two eight year olds never would have been able to fight off two grown men Who knew that a silly look may have saved my life.

Her is a story So I go to an autistic school and the age range is 4-18 and normally I go in a taxi with this boy who is probably 9 years old and he has trouble communicating and u have to talk to him slowly everything was normal up until this point. So one day me and my friend are getting on the taxi and we were waiting for this boy and when the teachers brought him to the taxi he started screaming and shouting "I hate my school I hate my taxi" and this is really strange dialogue coming from a boy who talks to himself and is normally (idk the word to describe him) me being me noticed this and when the taxi was about to leave I had this terrible feeling so I decided to switch my seats and sit next to him. As we are going down one of the roads I have this urge to hold his seatbelt after a few minutes nothing happens so we are now going down a this lane and I get a sinking feeling in my stomach and that same urge to hold his seatbelt (buckle part) so I held it and all of a suddenly he starts lashing out and all I could think was "I need to stop him" so i grip on the seatbelt harder and now I can see this look in his eyes nothing I've ever seen before at this split second he tries to move my hand and undo his seatbelt I was trying to get him to stop and this point we are both struggling somehow he manages to undo his seatbelt and we are two streets away and just as he is about to be thrown I grab him and hold on to him for dear life and stop him from being thrown through a window after that I just held on to him all the way back to his house now this taxi is a massive taxi which is for wheel chairs also. The taxi is very bad a few weeks later the door got jammed . I am so thankful that I had switched seats otherwise I wouldn't of been able to stop him from being thrown forward.

One time, when I was 11 or 12, me and a neighbor hood friend were walking my 2 cats in our neighboorhood. The neighborhood was basically a 4 way intersection. We were both just wandering around our side of the neighborhood, when the cat I was walking bolted to the intersection. I ran after him and saw this car across the street, just waiting there. I just smiled and waved, to show that he could turn and I wasn't going to run or anything. He didn't move, so I just thought he was paranoid that I was going to do something stupid, so I just turned around and started walkingto my friend. As I did that, I heard the car moving forward. I didn't look back, and just walked over to my friend. I told her and she said that she had never seen that car before, and our neighborhood is really small, so we knew most people there. My gut told me to go back inside, so we took the cats and went to my house. I locked the front door and went to check the back door to see if it was locked, and I looked out the window and saw the car driving away. We saw him go into the neighborhood, and he had waited at the intersection for 10 minutes. I told my mom when she came back and she said I did the right thing. I don't know what could of happened, but I'm glad I went inside.
