Sinners are fairly strong now, they can properly deal with K Corp L3 staff (empowered one even). They're on the level of Urban Plague. It's just that higher member in a finger is just too much, they're bullshit op for how much resources they have. Thumb is Star of City in LoR and so as other fingers. That's two tiers difference. And no, Verg isn't sinner's teammate. He's obliged to not help the sinners because Limbus Company told him. Although he indeed doesn't care, for some reason he's been a massive dick towards sinners.

The fight with Ricardo immediately became my new favourite fight in the game, the perfect showcase of how FUCKED we are if anyone actually high up in the city's hierarchy goes after us, considering he's ONE tier above a basic Thumb Soldato for comparison, ONE, there's at least another TWO tiers above him! He's so much stronger than us that WE get knocked back when HE looses a clash, absolutely amazing visual/gameplay storytelling here. Also my headcannon is they just blared their theme on loadspeakers when he stepped off of the ship, would fit their vibe perfectly and is absolutely hilarious.

Also if you think about Roland’s specialties outside the library, he’s effectively equipped to be an excellent assassin. The perception blocking mask and the sound cancelling gloves would make spotting him or finding him a huge pain. Idk how the middle does when they get surprise attacked but given all of Ricardo’s theatrics with the book they I wouldn’t be surprised if they struggled with being suddenly on the back foot Then again idk if any of the fingers are particularly equipped to handle such deadly surprise attacks. The Index’s Blade Unlocked benefits from a prolonged fight so possibly the Thumb of the one’s we’ve seen? Being able to turn around and immediately lay down concentrated fire might be the best hope for that kind of situation

From all the things this lake can throw at us, getting obliteratet by a guy screaming about hair coupons was unexpected. Note to myself: Dont do bossfights when your sanity is already drained from a 10h afternoon workday (having underlevelt Sinners also didnt help) But beating this encounter is actually not to difficult. He has about 5000hp, but you only have to bring him to about 60% of that. Ricardo and his gang is *weak to blunt* , has an *Envy/Sloth* (purple/yellow) weakness and is resistent to *Wrath* and *Pride* skills (Red/Dark blue) Use the little brothers to built resources and sanity. Than, as soon as the boss callenges you to a dps check (sun glasses icon) nuke him. During his challenge he takes double damage and tremor effects, so it shouldnt be to hard to stagger him. Or just spam *Chains of Others* and win ...

Chains of Others + Crow's Eye View on a fast Yi Sang ID makes Ardor Blossom be able to take down one of the AoE attacks, at least, if I counted it properly.

Here's someone who eat's people like you for a snack" Also the retroactive realization of just how fucked the Library is with how they basically wiped out hundreds of people stronger than this guy only for THEM (In a admittedly weakened state) to get bodied hard by two Head agents. 2 colors and a former arbiter beaten with minimal effort by (presumbly) higher ranking head agents. That information would probably make Don explode. I love how the power scaling of Pmoon can be so interesting at every level. It's also interesting how Aleph threats just exist naturally in the outskirts and the fun/terrifying implication that there are creatures even more powerful that that beyond the borders of the city.

The way offense level works is that when you clash, offense/defense power is compared to the target you're clashing with. For every 3 levels a combatant has over their opponent, they gain 1 final clash power. So having a high offense level can really matter for an ID. If a combatant uses a defensive skill, the defense level of that skill is used instead. An ID's general defense level translates to how fast they take damage. This is why it feels like whenever R Heath or W Ryoshu takes a hit, they lose a ton of hp compared to say Dieci Rodya who has +5 defense level compared to R Heath's and W Ryoshu's -4.
