I climbed and cut a tree down for the 1st time Friday and that was one of the hardest things I've ever done. And I'm proud of myself😃 thanks to billy ray for showing me climbing techniques and how to do it safely. Im also thankful for his teachings on how to properly sharpen a chain and teaching me to stand up akd buck. I love my 372 and 394 and i love my long bars😃. Thanks buckin! Your the man!! Tickling the strong limb underneath, using that long bar Billy, is what keeps a guy safe (as opposed to gunning it in with overwhelming horsepower). And this is just a straight pine.

What's Billy wanting to avoid with that? Bar pinches in the limb underneath tree, then limb breaks, tree rolls towards Billy, Billy has to skiddadle in reverse, and un-grip the 562 and leave it after him. That's all stuff that can happen, and is worth avoiding too. Even if it reduces one down to tickling and rubbing away at that limb on both sides, and staying on the right side of being still in control of a situation. Straight, laid down horizontal, nothing extraordinary length of pine. Yeah.

Have you tried the Hexa chain, I haven't on BC for, but my 066 ( my almost new saw, F&G gave as a retirement thank you) loves to pull it, I've got it in Arizona and it gets at it in my pine firewood I help cut for people, you know a saw guy never gives up on the smell of chain oil, gas, sawdust pants. It really gets the Mesquite we find, a tree service calls me to get the firewood size stuff, they don't know how to sharpen a chain. LOL so it's in of to 12' lengths, the Hexa skip sure goes thru it compared to square, or round chain.

Custom mufflers or pipes bro.. they make a world of difference. I never messed with them much till a few years ago after watch n Buckin. A well built and designed pipe is amazing! Some you strike out on though. Spend hours building something that’s just noise. But most time, they come alive…. That one he’s use n today, it makes my toes itch getting to hear it. It’s amazing!
