It depends more than people like to think on planets. It's pretty tough to get meaningful +mult unless you get a lot of planet cards i.e. through blue seal, and if you're playing like level 5 pairs or something it's 42 mult across two jokers, which is... fine. That said Chad does other things and glass/mult cards can increase the value too.

If you are confused about Gold Stake being the same as White Stake, it's because the score requirements get literally too big for the computer to handle, so it's impossible to get any further
